Interesting, thanks for the link.
If you look at the multiplayer page, you will see that Carthagenians are also a civ.
Viks' UU is the berserk(er?) What's more interesting to me in the 1st shot are the radar towers (those grey things I think) and the airstrips.
The Spanish UU is the Conquistador, 5/3/3,. but he's still researching feudalism? Hmm, what's up with that, I would expect it to replace knights (or come a little later), but if they don't have chivalry yet....
I've played w/ Snoopy's graphics for so long, I don't know if the graphics on page 2 are different, but they look strange to me.
Mongol's UU is the Keshik-4/2/2
I guess the other images are just civilopedia images? Not sure. If they are just of new units, then there is either a new artillery unit, or a UU artillery unit.
Oh, and it looks like MP will be limited to 8 players, not 16.
I'm sure there's other stuff in there that I'm missing.

The Mongol is researching Monotheism.
5.3.3! I guess the Spanish can do some conquering.

It seems to be a new tileset.

I just looked over at Civfan, and Jeff said that they cheated to put the units in, so the fact that the Span's have conquistadors before feudalism is probably due to cheating.

As it stands now, Monotheism is a pre-req for Chivalry.
And 5.3.3 blows any other UU away.

It's a shame we don't get to see the Viking special unit yet. I'd like to see what it is. Still seeing those nice close-ups of the Conquistador and the Keshik is good.

What's that thing on the hill in the first image?
Snow Hills/Mountains . And are they snowed under forests?
Conquistadors
What are the big images of the units for
Those buttons on the 5th image look interesting .
Multiplayer - What's the big tick next to Bearman
Civ Specific Abilities? .

hmm
Can anyone tell what those icons are in the Spanish/Mongol screenshots? I see 3 on the right end I can't quite place. And this is looking good, Trondheim being a city has to mean Vikings, heh. Wonder what unit the Conquistador replaces though.
Edit-Grrr: I think the things on the hill in the first screenshot are radar towers, at leas thats what it reminds me of. That screenshot also shows the airbases, can't wait for the XP to come out.

The first looks like a city selector.
The second seems to me like one of those stacked map things we had in Civ II .
The third seems to me to be a stack unit kind of thingy.

Hmm, I just noticed the icons on the far right, I meant the ones in the middle for the unit, what are those three on the end of the unit icons? And i've got no idea what that number is, the current version they're testing maybe?

Berserk - that one has a scary axe! Nice radars & airfields, BTW.
Conquistador - damnit if it replaces Knights! We already have too much Knight replacements, and 5-3-3 is overpowered.
Second screenshot, besides revealing the snow and Conquistador, has two new order icons. One surely is Patrol, another could be Sentry... and also, a few icons above the status window... stack related?
Keshak... what the heck is it? Too early for a Knight, but too powerful to replace the Horseman.
Multiplayer... here it is... Capture the Flag, Elimination and Regicide games CAN be played in standard mode, that is, without that turnless thing!

Sadly nothing on the scenario editor yet.
I had expected to be able to choose your own scenario in the MP setup dialog.

Actually, that Oriental rocket launching thing might be a special unit from the Japanese unit set.
Either that or there are Koreans in the game and they get rocket artillery as a UU. I though that strange (an artillery UU) but the Americans do have the F-15, which is pretty much the same thing.

Indeed it may be from the Japanese unitset. That would explain it a little better.

Did anyone yet notice that the Carthaginians appear in the Multiplayer Setup?

It is barely readable, but judging from what some Viking towns are building, the name of the special Viking unit might be "Bezerk".

Exactly my opinion. I also would have created a modified galley that can cross the oceans... an early oceancrosser would have given the Vikings an advantage in return for having to start in an unfriendly landscape.

Ah nice, a no goody huts option. I'm curious as to what the 'game mode' is meant for - I assume this is for capture the flag, etc? One thing I didn't see is a double production/moves option or something similar (a quick mode, but not a scenario like CTF or Regicide), I hope they include that... Nevertheless so far things look a lot more well polished than the first civ3. Although I'm not getting my hopes up until release, so far I'm impressed.

I'd rather wait till Christmas to get a perfect game, although it would be nice if it was out earlier (as long as this in no way or virtually no way compromises the game).
