Since the first leader shots have been released, it is time to bring back the leader compilation thread! As I did for the original game, as new leader pictures are released, I will add them here. The first 4 civs:

The leader for the celts seems to be Brennus, from the information we have.

In the Infogrames press release, it says there will be the leader "King Brennus" (who was Celtic), and there's a nice artistic picture of an ancient Korean gunpowder unit as well.

Added more pics of Isabella, Genghis, and what seems to be an Arab guy from the video shots that monkspider so nicely posted.
I KNOW that the Koreans aren't confirmed, and I know that the guy I have down as the Arab leader may actually be the turkish leader. Until we get more info, though, that info will stay like it is.

I didn't see the video, but I don't think it's Isabella we see : the background doesn't match, the smile seems to be different, she has a collar in every shot except the mediaval one. Edit : and she doesn't look in the same direction
Given the Xena look in ancient era, I'd go for Viking.

It's her. It said in the video. And who would be a viking female leader? Weren't they run exclusivly by men?

You sure the turban wearing leader is Arab? Might want to put him down as a maybe for the Arabs or the Ottomans.

Like I said, I know he may be either the arab or turk leader, but until we get more info I'm just going to leave him where he is.

The Ottomans should be replaced in name by the Turks, I think. The Ottomans (Osmanlis) were a dynasty of Turkish leaders.

Yeah, perhaps the more general name of Turks could be better, seeing how they were Turks before the Ottoman empire, and are Turks afterwords. However . . . it was as the Ottomans that Turkey came to dominate and rule a HUGE part of Europe, Africa and Asia. Firaxis will probably want to focus on this period of Turkish history as the game deals with empire building, and this is exactly what the Turks were doing during this time when they were known as the Ottomans.

I believe that you are correct. However, my question for you is this: How did you know that it was Osman, and not say Suleiman?

Isn't it also quite likely that the unit in the new PtW screenshot is merely one of the Ottoman's/Turks great leaders? Not necessarily THE leader.
No offense, but the leader head could still be any Sultan IMHO.

Erik the Red was more of an explorer than a leader, a better choice would be Canute or Harald Hardrule.

J-- Ah, OK. I did not see this.
Andrew-- That is impossible. You don't see great leaders. You just see the leader. Osman it is. Good choice.
As for Viking chief...there are several choices: Knud (Canute), Harald Bluetooth, Harald Hardrada, Rollo, Rurik, Erik Bloodaxe, Erik the Red, Radnar Lodbrok, Guthrum...
Now, better questions would be: Arab or Korean leaders! As for Koreans, I only know the guys in the Korean War, and the Kings Wang Kon and Sejong. I think Wang will probably be the guy, as he really made Korea united, way back in the 900s.
Arab leaders...can't be Muhammad. Could be someone like Harun al-Rashid or Abu-Bakr.

Hey! Wait! Look closely at the image on this link:
http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3image...e/screen17.jpg
It seems to be a different pic of Genghis, one not on the Compilation! In fact, it looks to be the REAL Ancient Genghis. Look at the fury shirt, and the necklace, shoulders, etc. It's not the same pic as is shown for the Ancient Genghis on the Compilation. This must be the genuine Ancient Genghis!
