BTW, I know from what site it is, so there is no reason to insult it again (it was very much disucussed already). I don't think that site makes up facts though (it is anyway not written which years October 8th exacly, so I though it is 2001 because article is about septerber 11th and it is written in late 2001. However, it could be also 2000 or 1999 maybe).

This is more from that site (now it says the quoute was actually said in October 3rd):

In a fit of anger, Sharon responded to Peres:
"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it."

what the hell is that? sounds a lot like hitlers view on american department stores.

There is a perception that many media companies are owned by Jewish people. And thus, they have more of an interest in keeping the US support for Israel. If this is true or not, I don't know, but that's what the perception is.

Giving the original quote was probably in German, the translation to English as civilisation with an 's' is correct - that is how it is spelt in English.
