Horse moves his capital 4 times in a duel. Is this a new record?
I moved my capital 4 times before Markus wiped me out in 1700

With his utter lack of social graces, you'd swear he was American.

Any loss in the AH/Markus series needs a better excuse. Come on, your pants were too tight, or you were worried about Hydey...........put some effort in.

Ah - thanks for the clarification DrSpike - so it was an excuse ...
"I was too busy moving my capital to notice the large Markus coloured army approaching my cities..."

LOL
All his land was rivers!, i didn't have one... he had grass lands to my plains. The he starts building all these cities on hill/mountain tops.. They where a real pain to take out.
With in 10 turns of moving his capitol to a new spot i would wipe it out LOL
Good thing someone didn't know how effective knights could be.. last time i caught him off guard using friggets to attack.

See AH? Markus, dedicated civer that he is, had an excuse pre-prepared should he have lost this one. You really need to put more effort into your civing.

As a matter of fact he started whining about the terrain at about 3000bc.
Losing my capital wasn't an excuse - he won fair and square.
But can anyone beat buildng 4 capitals?

This is the terrible land Markus was complaining about - I thought he must have been on a small island but actually he had a large continent which he never managed to completely settle.
Check out all the whales he had.

Probably is a record. I hardly ever move my capital, even when it's about to get toasted.

I think i've moved my cap twice in my entire playing career. Of course most of our games are over by the time you could move it four times.

Doesn't work for me in IE, either. It's a .php file which IE refuses to acknowledge. Yet the Apolyton address contains .php within it. Who knows?

Still no good for me. IE refuses to acknowledge a .php file.

Hey Markusf now that I've seen your terrain I can't believe the way you whined about it. I thought you must have been trapped on some little island.
I think you got a better start than me in fact. I mean, a whale in a lake in your capital's city area? LOL - lucky, lucky, lucky.

You can see his many many whales clearer in this shot - also notice how much land he had, LOL. I think that's a fairly good starting position.
