Is There An Error??

On the Civilization III site, they posted NEW information. But, under the section that discussed what civilizations would be included, they noted that for the FIRST time, Japan might be included, as it was never in any Civilization title.

Isn't this an error? I thought I remembered Japan being included in Civilization II.

Mr. Fun. Dan says this of the Israelis. Not the Japanese and Vikings (that both were included in civ 2.

Mind you, as the post says, the Israelis are not confirmed.
