the servers for apolyton is in america so it should use the standard AMERICAN way to date things 
or america should switch to the way the rest of the world does dates.

Really, month/day/year is just the order a date is spoken in american english, so it makes perfect sense. Nobody asked the date order trend setters to be compatible, after all...

That's one reason I normally try to use the word for the month (May 31 2002) rather than the number in international forums.
