Your favorite hot-keys...
I hate to make a new thread about this, but Ive just gotta see which ones all these 1337 civ3ers use, Im stuck in the Ancient Era when it comes to hot-keys. The ones I know of and use regularly are:
Shift-A = To automate workers without changing any current terrain upgrades
Ctrl-J = Move all units of same type in a stack at the same time
Shift-U = Upgrade all units of this type in all cities with barracks
After all the patches came out I kinda fell behind with the new keys for the new commands. One specific question: is there a key to unfortify your units, I hate clicking 'wake unit' one by one when you have a stack of 50+ troops.
TIA.

I use them all and I hope the new ones that are being mentioned address the unfortifing of units.
* - unfortify all units of this type on this space
shift* - unfortify all units on this space
ctrl* - unfortify all units of this type (very helpful from military advisor screen)
just a wish list.

AIL,
there's a really helpful reference sheet at http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=35819.
It contains hotkeys, tech tree, improvement tables, etc.

Instead is just pressing 'p' to clean pollution, I use Shift-p, I think the difference is they keep looking for pollution forever, they will go into a city to rest, but come out as soon as pollution appears...
So from the lack of responces, I guess these are the major HKs that get use? Thats kinda weak, I was hoping that I didnt know about some good ones after the latest patch came out...

Two not already mentioned:
E to have a unit auto explore (like automated workers keep a few units on manual control)
Y sentry duty for a unit (activates when an enemy appears)

"Y" Oh yeah! This was not implemented in the Release Version and just came with one of the patches... I almost always use this now instead of "F"... And "E" I use for the first some Units I build...
And panag: How can u say it's in the book? I am sure it came along with patches, especially these things of how to control Stacks or all units of one type... So it definitely is not in the book but somewhere in the versionchanges.txt...

F7. Who is trying to build my wonders....
The other F keys are very handy too. Particularly for space-race and score features.

Shift-R : nothing like building a railroad and increase production !
E : auto explore is very handy, and automated explorers do better than me anyways. Now that I know E, I don't hesitate to make plenty of exploring warriors at the beginning of the game.
