Civ 2 was, at best, an x-pack of Civ 1, not a sequel. Graphics got much worse! I never confused anything in Civ 1, and multiple times did in Civ 2.
Little new concepts. Stupid Caravans remained. Settlers making improvements also remained, another thing I hated. Ahh .

Civ 3 is good, and by far my favorite game. Civ 2 was possibly better than Civ 1, but in case I never got it, it wouldn't be a great miss.

I just wasn't that addicted to it, but if you count all the time I wasted on Civ 1, SMAC, CtP and Civ 3, that's still enough .
For a long time, I rarely started Civ 2, usually going to Civ 1 if I wanted a game. I don't think I finished more than 20 SP games of Civ 2, compared to 550 Civ 1 games .

That is still good. It is at least 50 hours of gameplay, which is more than most other games.

ive played two handfuls of civ3 games.
trainers are for modders and cheats tho. No REAL man uses a trainer (other than the modders)

Modding isn't using the trainer for cheating. We aren't that worried about the modders using trainers in our mp games. We're worried about the people who just come to the forums to ask for a way to cheat.
