So says a man from a nation that prances around like little cocky turds all day long every day of their lives...
The Argies were dirty b*stards that deserved to lose!
Axi, anyone watching Pochatillo's trip on Owen will see that it is clearly a premeditated act - that he pulled it back quickly was only because he was trying not to get caught by the ref! After all, he got away scott free from his blatant elbow into the chest of an England player earlier on...
And Batistuta should have got sent off for that elbow challenge after he already had a yellow card...
Talking of Wussies - the biggest pansy boy I've seen is Rivaldo's pathetic theatrics after being struck by a ball in the corner by a Turkish player...
Bring on the Latin Americans - they're all dirty cheating pansies!!!

Yes, that's exactly why.
And if you saw how bad we were against Sweden it wasn't a bad guess.

Well, I've seen wiser moves than labelling an entire continent "dirty cheating pansies". I didn't think you were big on nationalism anyway, MOBIUS?

Just their footballers, obviously...
Brazil and Argentina have been guilty of a raft of professional fouls and dirty play. Rivaldo was crying like a little girl!
Uruguay used to be reknowned for their evil hatchet tactics and were pretty dirty vs. the French. Even Paraguay and Ecuador have a few tricks up their sleeves as shown in their respective games vs Spain yesterday and Italy the other day...

Yeah... I think that's a little one sided. There was Beckham's elbow, and whether or not Owen was fouled ( I think he was) he made the most of it, Butt put in some crushing tackles in midfield... etc. etc.

Oh thanks for reminding me of the blatant shirt tugging on Rio in the Argies box...
Name me some blatant fouls or dirty tricks perpetrated by an English player in either game...
Perhaps I'm seeing this through rose tinted glasses, but the only thing I've seen is a couple of 'player hugging' incidents...
Nicky Butt put his weight about yesterday, but none of his tackles were intentionally dirty.
In fact about the only remotely thuggish player we have in the team is Danny Mills.
We used to have some - people like Batty etc. But that is the old plodding England.
Sorry, but we're playing very fairly IMO.
BTW, the dirtiest team I've seen so far - Senegal!
They were animals against Denmark, I didn't see their game vs France and wanted to support them as underdogs - I was frankly disgusted in the first 10 minutes or so after witnessing a constant stream of violent tackles and a thrown punch!

Ashley Cole's challenge on Ortega in the first half, the one he got booked for. That was a shocker. Someone should have told him it was Batistuta who took him out not Ortega. He played well after that though.

I mostly like the Argentinian team because of their hair. They nice to watch, plus they can do some funny stuff to the ball's course, which a shaved head cannot do. F.e. they can hide the "hand of God" beneath all that hair...

I take offense! Iīll admit that I think Bodds is a complete tosser, but besides that the remark WAS racist.
IMO thereīs a slight difference between saying that the french are weak-wristed frog eaters (for instance) and that

You can't have sportsmanship for the bunch of animals that the sweaty Argies are.

If someone said the same things about black people or jews, noone would question the racism in that.

If you call that "good-natured sports rivalry" youīre as ****ed up as Bodds IMO. I donīt know how they generally do things where you come from, but I donīt consider labeling foreign players "sweaty animals" particulary good-natured.

More derogatory comments How would you like it if I called the aussies "beer swilling kangaroo- ****ing racists who couldnīt play soccer if their life depended on it"?
People. learn to differentiate between a nations athletes and itīs people!
The breeding ground for racism and xenophobia lies, in part, in remarks uttered by several posters here. However "good-natured" they seem or were intended.
God, I hate being the politically correct guy
