Foreign Ministers report on the Indians 1764 ad
foreign ministers report on the Indians 1764ad
The Indians are a republic with 1184 gold in the bank, they have 6 cities with Delhi as their capital, they have no techs we do not have and are researching Navigation.
They allied to the babylonians, at peace with the Romans and at war with us
They only have 1 wonder, the Oracle of Delhi
They have a number of units approaching Babar, crusaders and catapults which is defended by 3 musketeers behind city walls on a river, we should be ok there.
While it would be nice to be at peace with the indians they have chosen the way of war so I recommend we finish of the egyptians and americans asap and them unleash the full fury of our mighty armies on the indians.

The problem with India is they have many inland city's, out of reach for our clads, I suggest we wait for a massive assoult on them untill we have railroad to transport our cannons to the front lines.
Oh, and we might want to defend San Jacinto.

I second atawas statement. As we can't reach them with our superiour ironclads it seems wise to leave them where they are until we get better units that can take and hold these cities as there's a problem with easily defended borders on the island.

Are they up to Musketeers yet?

The Indians showed up with offensive units just after I established San Jacinto. I will be rush-building Musketeers there, but I don't think they are "aware" of that city yet. Nevertheless, I won't be trusting to luck.
We do have Dragoons now (see the Defense screen I posted for details on the numbers). I don't think anyone else has Musketeers yet.

Time to blast away their phalanx and legion defenders and sack their cities! Musketeers are hard to beat with ironclads or destroyers...

We can take Bombay with ease, as we have Ironclads in theater.

We have to reduce the threat on Babar, but as their cities are inland, let's avoid walled ones.
The main and more urgent priority is to stop Rome's research !
(their capital is under the fire of our superclads !)
