First MOO experience yesterday. help needed , urgently.
I've played my first game of MOO, that I've downloaded from an abandonware site. It was GREAT. I really enjoyed it , especially for an old game. Of course , as the game was downloaded , I didn't have a manual to speak of. Then the game started to ask me to go to pages in the manual , and say what kind of aircraft is this, and what kind of aircraft is that . After making mistakes , I supposedly lost the game , showing a funeral of mine. What gives ? How do I overcome this ?

I don't recall Poly adms all to hot and bothered by even the slightest hint of piracy. These are the guys who've banned even discussing if no-cd patches are legal or not, remember?

You should try MOO2, Dal. It's quite more deep and entertaining!

Both are great. I had Moo as better for years, but Moo2 is moving along side for wire. Start with Moo as it is easier to learn.

It's pretty funny when the threads discuss the avatars like that.
Similarly, I thought this was Dalgetti's thread, but it seems to be Azazel's now. Is Azazel formerly Dalgetti?

I do not know about you, but the bottom of my screen shows Moo2 for sale at Amazon.com for $9.99.
I've bought stuff from them in the past and had no issues.

The picture code can be downloaded at the same site as the abandoned MoO anyway (theunderdogs.org IIRC). No big copyright deal.
Yes, I remember my addiction too and see the influence of the game design in SMAC, which is my current focus.

Don't need it anymore... They are easy to learn. Especially the penetrator who looks as if he had really good penetrating capabilities!
Btw. We were talking about Avatars. So can anyone tell me what mine is? I chose it because it looks like a cool sceptre for ruling purposes but I really can't tell what it is.
