How many stories should be in the Preliminary Rounds?
I am strongly in favor of having more stories in the preliminary rounds because there's too many contests going at once. Its confusing and hard to finish your story during the very short contests.

16, but at least 12, or we could say you have to finish before you can be nominated.

That might work, but then all the stories that are in the contest are really old. I think a bigger contest is necessary. We have 3 going right now, and its just too many.

Yes, but those three contests go by much faster now.

Well also, if its from sixteen, I think that the prize should be greater than $2 off at the gift shop, that doesn't even cover shipping for christ's sake

12! Even with the growing number of stories, 16 will take too long...
