Users listed as Guests, eh? Well, in the ancient days of AC-Fiction that I've looked at during the course of my investigations, I've seen Edgecrusher, Rural Ranger, Barbarossa, and I think LightEning (who of course is a registered member now ). I'm sure there're other "Guest" posts buried somewhere below the forum's floor.

Got this information from "Members" - Advanced Search -Last post date if anyone wanted to get any more information.
EDIT : Oops ixnay beat me to it lol

Then define "active"... IMO itīs someone who posts at least a couple of times a week.
I did a search using these parameters:
and Last Post is after 2002-05-01
and Number of Posts is greater than 20 (roughly equal to 5 posts a week)
It came up to 1140 posters.

Kamrat, aren't you forgetting the OT'ers? Would they show up as active with that criteria?

that goes for their entire history, not the period that you set
if someone had 19 posts and made 1 in the last month, they would be in your list

I think they will... AFAIK it searches ALL posts, OT posts are also posts, even if they donīt increase your post count.

Damn, so itīs not an boolean "AND" parameter then?
Is there any way to get this info without making an SQL query? (Which would require admin access to the database I suppose?)

Do we have evidence of this? Do we have evidence that there are many people that come into the forums weekly that read posts and then only post occassiionally. Yes. this is probably a distinct possibility but is there any evidence to indicate how many people this is?

What about all the persons that have posted at least one post at the forums in the whole history of Apolyton?
I would guess that it's around 8000 (no, I haven't checked it out myself)

have a nice day

So, who won the award GP or MtG or someone else started for predicitng when weād hit 20K?
If someone could remember when we hit 10K, I could check my arghives and determine when we did the predictions for 20K

about that, JBytheway, actaully taht is amazing since OT threads donāt count for that number and man ythreads were deleted and many posters never post at all

wernazuma III ās original login was wernazuma, and that was destroyed as was PHās during the week when many posters accounts had to be reregistered or reconstituted. I think that was around when PH was wining for his post count.ų
Snapcasesā really long username is merely locked out' I donāt think it was ever deleted' I think I saw it on the top posters list not too long ago.
