Kelp sprite
Has anyone a picture of kelp that would be appropriate for making a sprite? I've tried to draw it myself but it just looks kind of green and blobbly.

You should be possible to extract the according graphic from the CTP2 gtset555.til file with tile edit, or you could use the Great Library image for this terrain.

You've lost me... Which terrain? There's no kelp in CTP(2), is there?

Yep, there sure is, the official name of the tile is "kelp bed" Check the editor, for a closer look.

I could have sworn I'd looked at all the tiles and not seen any such thing. Thanks for the pointer.

You're right! Just goes to show I've not played enough CTP2 yet... I was hoping for something a little more off-scale (where you could see the fronds - like in SMAC, I seem to recall from when I played it long ago) but this will do for starters. Thanks again.
