Hokay then, Flubb has the passwords, we should all e-mail him our preferred pass. We should start at 6:00 (GMT -8:00). With aliens involved there is no real need for diplomatic victory. Also, since most of the tournement rules apply only to the human AI's not the Alien ones this game shouldnt be too difficult from the ethical standpoints of the participants. Im not too hot about accelertated start, or spoils of war: both unfair to builders, in addition I think we should allow faction restart. I also think we should allow unlimited workshop upgrades, this is not a cheat or an exploit, but is part of the game's design and using B1a rule is akin to saying no-rush in starcraft or the equivelent, I think we should go with B1c. Other than that, I believe we're covered.

Hey, who said life was fair?

When most wars start there are inequalities, strong, weak and in between, and factors which the participants have to work with.

The aliens, spoils of war and accelerated start
as well as faction status are part of the scenario.

ie The world has been invaded by aliens, the factions are still in existence but only just. Sort of War of The Worlds.

You have to work with what you've got so to speak.
There's still opportunities to build but things start on
a quasi agressive footing. Pacts and treaties can still be made though.

Agree with B1c though.

UN Bulletin to be posted this pm along with first turn.
