Man, I feel your pain. But Norway's a civilized country, I'm sure there's ways to dodge conscription that don't include running from the country and escaping to Sweden.
Check all your possibilities to dodge conscription.

That's correct, but the law says that every man must serve his country one time before he turn 32. I will be sent to prison if I refuse. The only way to get around it is if I have a cronical sickness or if my health situation makes it impossible for me do the job. Something in which I don't have
The other alternative, but ver unpopular alternative, is if I'm a pasifist or if my religion prevents me from doing the duty. Then I will have to do community service

I just thought politicians might be exempt, even something as small as city councilmen and the like.

Well, there's an election this fall (September). If I get elected I might be sent home again. But then I would have to do the service later on. And when you first are in you will have to make up a really really good story to be exept. You will have to lie about something, and I don't want to do that...

Get elected and get conscription abolished, then you won't have to serve anything at all.

I think we might be able to conscript Academia to replace you as Great Britain since he really loves this scenario and since the New Imperialism 1870 Game semms to have died out.
