oops... sorry, I didn't even realize I'd done a typo... my apologies. (Can't edit or I'd screw up some later posts, otherwise I would.)

Does everything increase by one now after HP cycles through?
A: 23 | D: 70 | M: 26 | HP: 1
I know for sure my M was 25 prior to the turnover. A was 22... don't remember what D was.

Bah...HP means very little since yours will drop to zero (or nil) really soon.

Could you post them?
I'd like to compare it to the list Venom gave me.
Mark, the fantasy stats were cooler, go back to that.

Actually, you're not. The levels I'm talking about aren't the titles. They are the "A" stat, which is logarithmic.

Ohwell, I'll just consider the old list definative then.
It seems that Mark's system is being cracked by the many math nuts around here.

I was puzzled when Mark posted this a while ago, and now I've decided to speak out:

Surely this is exactly like post count levels for titles - they're connected logarithmically to post count too (or as near as makes no difference, since sqrt(10)~=3).
Has anyone figured whether the hit points are interpolated logarithmically or linearly yet?

I'm pretty sure linearly since it is a percentage.

Hit points is merely percentages, how many points you need to get before you advance to the next A logarithmic level... I believe.

If "Hit Points" are simply a percentage to the next level I still say it makes no sense whatsoever to call them "hit points."
Upgrade Points or Leonardo Workshop points or at least something else that doesn't mean how much damage I can recieve since on this system we die or go comatose every single time we up our A rating.
And if A is the only thing that changes, I'm still surprised at how my other stats are increasing at about the same time.

Well FlameFlash, perhaps they SHOULD be called upgrade points, but upgrade points are not civvish
Thus we are doomed to not make sense

Personally, I'd rather have the whole thing make sense than have it civvish and not make sense to the average person.
I had to read all 13 of these pages before I understood what was really happening here....

Yes, D&D rankings would make more sense
Unless of course, mark, you implement the system I developed

You're right, DC, but I'm going to have to agree with phoenixcager... it's more important to me to make sense than to be civvish. If you can be civvish and make sense I'd love it!

True... but neither does having to die (HP hitting zero) every time your A goes up by one.

I still don't understand it [eyes glazed over]. It would help a lot if the system used meaningul names for the four reported stats.
And how about a FAQ entry with definitions to point to? Even if the system is still being modified, the FAQ would cut down on the number of posts asking what the heck is going on.

It wouldn't cut down on the number of posts. There are many threads asking questions that are answered in the FAQ.

Doubtful. Many people claim they already looked in the FAQ and still ask questions.
