Did it work?

Juggernauut, MarkG said it's only on the light-special style set. Changing style set should remove the stats

since then i've added it on all styles

Nope, seems I'm too stupid.
E.g: 219 posts, 81 to reach the next level of 300. My calculator says thats 73%, not 82%
Concerning the level: what is the highest level you can reach? 100? How many posts do you need to reach it?
HP/MP: I can see the numbers on going up per post, but the numbers itself are neither related to my number of posts nor to the number of days I'm here.

Y'know, this is something of an incentive for me to bring back the Vivi avatar...
Edit: ...and now the stats are gone.

Fun while they lasted. Seems like the server sped up a little though.

No, have the joke be consistant, or stop that line of joking and start a new joke.

changes:
from rpg-like info (level, hp, mp, exp), we now have civ unit-like titles for the stats: Attack, Deffence, Movement, Hit Points
also, D(formerly hp) and M(formerly mp) are now percentages.
D shows how good your average posts per day is in comparison to an average of 5(changed from 3) posts per day
clarification:
M shows (as before) how much you have posted in connection with how long you have been registered
A(formerly level) is connected logarithmically to your post count and therefore is not like the post count levels for titles

another change a bit related to this is that the average posts per day as shown in the profile for 1970ers is now calculated with 26/7/1998 not 1/1/1970

I'm going to like this method better... especially now that it's no longer right there staring back at you.

This is a pretty stupid idea considering the OTF doesn't count for some arbitrary reason.

Why shouldn't they include OT postings?
It's a forum on this site, that people post to, so why this site's forums doesn't keep track of how much those people are posting is beyond me.
There should at least be two counters, one for on topic posting and one for offtopic posting or something. Better idea is to just count posts in the OTF.

hi ,
that would be nice , just a count for OT and T , yeah , just to see how much one has posted in both , but let them count , , nope , that would be unfair , and soon everyone would be in OT , just to get their post's , ...
have a nice day

Maybe count OT postings like they do for vouchers that you need to save up to get a free football - each post would be worth 0.01 of a proper post

I like the idea of the stats, but those stats seemed meaningless and more importantly, inaccurate.

Hi everybody,
I have not yet seen my stats (desperately low I presume) but I've laughed a lot.
Is there another experience in progress ?

Why should he answer it AGAIN...
This is a "gaming" site. The OTF has been established to provide people that are a part of the community to discuss NON gaming related things without CLUTTERING up the GAMING forums...
When posts did count in the OTF, spamming with such threads like word association and the coffee shop were just unbelievable... people just posting for the sake of post count. Now that they don't count in the OTF threads like the word association and coffee shop have almost disappeared... gee, I WONDER WHY...
While there is still massive amounts of spamming in the OTF... it's not anywhere near as bad as it was.
If you are SOOOOOOOOO concerned about YOUR post count... contribute to the on topic forums... you know... the gaming forums... you know... the ones that are on a GAMING SITE

On another stats subject... I have to agree with Jon Miller on how HP is calculated... (yes, strange that I agree with him on something)... But the way you have it set up know, it just doesn't make sense based on any game to date. People of higher levels should have more hits points. Just because they just passed one level doesn't mean they should go down It should be a combination of level and distance to the next one
