Wake Up!!!!!!
Sorry but couldnt resist, since the civ3 forum opened it seems kinda dead in here
Although I'm not without blame myself it seems this place toned down a bit since everybody is posting in the 50 threads on civ3demo.
Do we need to take a headcount of players still here?
Well, I am, and not planning on leaving untill the proud Apolytonian empire has conquered the whole planet

I'm still around. Half-awake only though. I don't have civ3 so there's no way to go.

It's kind of odd. I didn't think everyone would just jump ship.

I think it's idle time. As far as I can tell, we've discussed everything to death.

I agree. I think it is mostly that there isn't anything further to discuss right now. It always calms down a couple days after the polls have come out and before the regular weekly session. We know pretty much what we want to do militarily, so there's not a lot to do there. The Ministers will send me their specific recommendations Thursday and Friday, and I'll play the next session Friday or Saturday.

The Minister of Trade is timmy2tone69. I haven't seen him posting or polling lately. I hope he hasn't left.

I'm still here, checking in daily. I'm not a minister this month, so I've posted far less than I previously did. Still watching, tho. Also, the active polls have about the same turnout as a month ago, I think people are just over at Civ3. They'll come back soon enough.

I haven't even touched the Civ3 Forum (since I don't have the game), but there really hasn't been anything to post about.

I agree, we have already talked about everyting a million times over, everyone is just waiting for some more topics to come up. I, for one, was a bit grateful for this respite. Too many posts=too little time for poor Xenozod to read.
Btw, Hidey, just want to congratulate you on a job well done as foreign minister, Keep up the good work!
About the absence of our trade minister, does anyone know if he is on vacation or something? I don't want to say hes doing a bad job if its not his fault.(Although he could have told us...)

Bear and the General were hard-working citizens, even though they had their ideal confused.

Sorry all. The exam tsunami has hit. First one in 13 hrs, and these are important like never before. I will look at the save afterwards tomorrow, and post what I can. This will hopefully give just enough time for a two day poll and some discussion.
'Till then.
Minister of WAR, not peace.

@MrWhereitsAt
If you are pushed for time just let the pressident know, I'm sure he could just ask the other ministers to cover for you in this time of need.
ps good luck with the Exams.

i'm here and write in threads, ... I've not yet Civ III !
It seems that June is the exam month for many of our young citizens ! Good luck to all of them !
Even if some ministries are asleep, the debates in the different threads show the way to our President.
It's direct democracy and under communist government, the people is sovereign and his voice is the law !

H Tower --
We live in nearby N-NW Chicago suburbs, within 5 miles of each other. We get together at Mingapulco nearly every Friday.
I met the twins in college , nearly 30 years ago. Yes, in Champaign. We played a lot of D&D and pinball back then. Other stuff, too.
Needless to say, I've got stories...
