Sweeeeet. These alien races look AWESOME. As much as I loved MoO2, I'm glad they moved away from the cheesy 'man in a costume' look. Thanks 4 the post Mark.

IMHO the alien is quite funny: looks like a balloon and swings forward like one of those boxing champ balloon things, it just looks unervingly like a balloon, just in my (V)HO

Neat animation, and again some "predator howling " at you like a feudal animal in this vast feudal galaxy...can't wait.

Sorry to say, but after spending five minutes downloading and installing quicktime (again), I'm not impressed, or let me say that I've seen better animations.

I won't let QT near my machine till it comes as WMP plug-in. Last time I tried to install it attempted to load my system with all kinds of spyware and reg nags... no way. Much as I'm interested in Moo3, unless the post that in any decent format like .mpg or .avi I think I'll pass.

You mean WMP doesn't have any spyware?

I wish I had known it needed QT before I went to the page. No thanks, will wait for the game. I would like to see one application to handle all animation, I do not want to load in numerious products every time I see a picture on the web. I want to know what is installed and why. No clutter.

Hey bonus on the QT install.
Now when I click on pics in emails, it defaults to QT instead of my browser. I often get multiple pics of defects and end up closing all of my browser windows when I close the pics....now no more!

You can change that, you know -- if you launch an explorer window, go to Tools/Folder Options, then select the "File Types" tab, and look for each image extension you care about.
Changing the associated app to Internet Explorer will *probably* do the trick. If you have to resort to the advanced menu, you'd need to know the DDE options and stuff -- look for another image format still associated with IE to copy, or post another message and I can send you the details.

Xen,
No, no, you misunderstand. I was closing active browsers with my stocks up an logged in cuz IE was my default picture viewer and I pretty much had nothing else. Now I have QT and actually like that I'm not (accidentally) closing my browser all the time when someone sends me pics via email.
Also, I think that I remember how to change it, has been a while since I had to though.

PSP is a good picture viewer, and loads all the pictures into the one program. Not 1 per picture like IE. You probably want to view pictures at home too I'm guessing

Oh...yeah, I *hate* it when something hijacks an IE window to display an image, I know exactly what you're talking about. Still, since it opens quickly compared to most apps (on my machine at least), I usually just remember to open a new IE window just before hitting an image link.
Delphi MOO3 chat regulars will remember how many times a URL (picture or no) in MS Outlook would steal my chat's browser window...
