Cavebear posted , these are the tourny rules unless everyone agrees to them otherwise. Deity then posted in the thread yes these are the rules accept for allainces are allowed.
As for moving units 2x, i showed a cavebear a diplomats that moved 2x.. Plus you publically admited to gifting all your units from within cities.
Besides its not like this is the first time diety pulled this ****.

RAH pulls out the lighter fuel............
After reading about this for what seems like eternity,
I believe both sides have probably exagerated their claims (DUH) , BUT I have a tendency to lean towards believing Markus's version is probably closer to what really happened. (I did see the original rules posted, and I do believe at least one unit was moved twice)
But having said that, If markus was his normal delightful self during the game, I probably would have ganged up on him too, and any action would have been justified.

Well in all the years i have played, have you ever seen me argue the rules in game that doesn't have diety in it?

Yeah, there's that too and I did take that into consideration. But your ego/competitiveness does drive you on sometimes.
That is the beauty of playing the same rules set regularly. I can't remember the last time we had a rules arguement, or rules change during one of our games.
(blatant self serving promo for "RAH rules")

Let's say I were to get MGE...how hard is it to get used to other than 1x1 diety? How hard to get used to Rah rules? Or the new things available in MGE (exchanging units, etc.)

Not hard it all. It's just a little different. The biggest difference is when you kick the snot out of someone, they kick back, and it hurts. Unlike the AI where for the next 1000 years, one unit every turn will attack the vet fortified on the mountain next to the road to them.

Well, he's mighty fine at winding up Deity. Just about as mighty fine at is as Markus. In fact, we're working to include Winding Up Deity as a sport in the next Olympics. The only entry qualification is that Deity has to have responded to your post with at least 3 justifications, 5 LOLs and 8 references to Supreme & Spotless.

Hmmm, I don't think finbar was ever really upset about Onion Island. I think its more a case of it showing what we've always known - that Deity is a war monger, an inveterate plotter and really belongs to the dark side of the force.

Deity always was a warmonger - he just liked to incite others to fight.
You've obviously never been the recipient of the streams of icq that he directs around any game, lol.
