silly me i forgot to answer the thread topic...
my most enjoyable games were back in my tribe days, games for rank within the Sayens (the duel against ozzy was one of my favs), games against them Dixie Hicks ( ), Vampires on Acid ( )...
rah, war4 and them others aren't quite as enjoyable due to the slight ( ) skill advantage they have on me

My favorite players to play with, Are Jhorsburgh, MartinMs500, Michmicha, and Strat when ever i can get a game with him. I also enjoy playing Atawa. A player of old i loved playing was Wierd God. Damn I miss him. All others, i love playing with you too... But these were just the ones on the top of my mind.

that i don't know..but i would suspect that its b/c they get caught cheating......
other theory is once you lose with your username, you must be reborn with a differnt or slight variation of what you were previously using....
or of course their is the forgotten password thingy

Yeah - that is why the zone is only good for a quick and dirty game.
This guy I played was an ICSer and when he saw my massed dumbos, cav and chariots breaking through and heading for his cities he suddenly found he had other things to do. He just lost a few units and that was it.

Ya well he lost one city and a few units and that was it.
I scratched my head until I checked the save and found his cities were pretty much undefended.

Yes it's a mystery. Some leave there cities undefended then complain about their bad luck when they lose a few cities to other players or barbs. Then procede to say,
"sorry I have to go, my girlfriend's cat just got stuck in the dashboard of my car and we have to rush to the mechanic's emergency room, thank's for the game. Too bad it couldn't go longer, in ten turns you would have been toast, another win for me"
Now you know he's not old enough to drive, wouldn't know what to do with a naked girl, and probably would be eliminated in ten turns.
BUT IT WAS ALL ABOUT LUCK
RAH

Define "minimal"
I subbed in a game a few weeks ago when somebody had to leave... (typical rah rules)... the guy had 5 or 6 cities... and maybe 8 units... with five of them being caravans. One ship... One archer... one diplo or warrior... and the Archer was exploring.
(maybe not totally acurate, I had a few beers, but close enough for this discussion)
In my books... that's NO DEFENSE!

Kol is a guy from zone, quite good at his mon/feud/chiv frontal assault.
People I enjoy playing with most are (in random order):
Strate, the german brothers: Martin and Micha, Bravelaker when he was around, Jamie (jhorsburgh), Arii, Jacksmak, Bud, Fell.......well basicly anyone that doesnt quit becouse you beat them to a wonder or outgrow them and can put up a good challenge

And my favorite is, "yes i only had three units defending 8 cities, but with all the strategic roads I layed down, they could be quickly moved to protect the empire." As eyes is capturing cities with explorers.
