believe that Sadrith Mora is a Telvanni city anyway correct?

Yup, but it's extremely easy to travel there since there's a Mage's Guild at Wolverine Hall (so you can teleport there for a couple gold pieces, rather than having to make multiple trips via boat and/or silt strider). Also, most Telvanni towns are pretty short on the way of independent services, whereas Sadrith Mora is just swarming with independent mages, blacksmiths, apothecaries, etc.

so how much of the world have you seen loin?
I just decided to start the game over, I'm using a Nord Warrior. Should level up really easily, all of his major and minor skills are weapon, armour, or athletic based.
I'm going to keep in mind the tip about the luck though, every level a point is going there!

I've finished the main quest, as well as every faction's quests except for Redoran and Hlaalu (can't do those since I'm a Telvanni) and the Imperial Legion's (I got tired of having to change out of my kickass Daedric armor every time I wanted to work on a Legion quest). I've also completed every Daedric quest except for Molag Bal's (whose shrine I have yet to locate). As a result I've been to every city several times, have seen nearly everything of interest inside the Ghostfence (primarily due to the main quest), and have been to quite a few of the more remote locations in the game. (I never became a vampire, and I don't know if it's even possible to become a vampire anymore at this point in the game since I'm immune to all diseases. Also, I've already wiped out two vampire clans, so even if I became a vampire I wouldn't have much to do). Currently I'm trying to see how high of a bounty I can accumulate--I'm up to 500,000 GP, and still have several more cities to scour.

This one's heading that way.
Ok, I think it's time to ask for a few spoilers. Shame, I know, but hey.
Fighter's Guild quest: debt money from Lirielle Stoine. I found her dead brother, but this didn't seem to trigger any new dialogue. Any suggestions?
Redoran Quest: dealing with the mudcrab problem. The directions to the guar herder's house ("leave Ald'ruhn for Gnisis. When you reach the hills, take first left fork, then first right. Herder is almost due west of Ald'ruhn") are a little too vague. Where the devil is she?
I'm sure I have another question regarding one of the first three legion quests (I won the battle of wits, and reckon I just need to walk past/kill the guard in the blighted egg-mine - soon as I get a cure target of Blight scroll...), but I'll remember it some other time. And, of course, the disappearance of the dwarves quest is interesting, but I hope Edwinna will help me with that.
Incidentally, levelling in Fighters and Mages guilds now looks really tricky, due to lack of use of main Magic skill (I'm now using a destruction training spell), and lack of depth in Fighters guild skills (I'm buying training in Blunt). However, Legion (with Long, Block, Athletics) and Redoran (with Long, Block, Athletics, Medium) should be doable...

No, I didn't really care for it. I only spent about a hundred hours on it. If I really like a game then I'll spend at least three or four hundred hours on it, but Morrowind just didn't make the cut.

Just talk to the quest giver (I forget if it's Eydis or that Orc fellow) and give him/her the money. Incidentally, you didn't even need to collect the money from Lirielle's brother, nor did you need to even talk to Lirielle--you just needed to give the quest-giver their money.

Ah. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to be too out of pocket. 2k is a reasonable amount of cash for me. Still, once I've sold the stuff sitting in Gnisis, and picked up the 1k bounty for the latest contract, it shouldn't be too bad.
Incidentally, it's the orc.

Whaaa.. I spent whole morning searching for that mark spell, and it surely aint common. I went trough all Mage guilds a few days earlier, and this morning trough all Telvanni cities all in vain but I picked up a few keys from Fry's treasure chests... what do they open? And will I have to confront him if I open those whatever it is? - he said no, but just to check, he seems like a nice enough guy who I wouldn't really want to kill .
Along the way I killed some lonsome orcish warrior and got a kick a$$ long sword, so far the most expensive weapon I found, however I think I will spend some of that new found money after I find that bleeding mark spell, on long sword training, as I am almost 0 in it - short sword -99.
Btw I had to use my super duper frost killa amulet for that warrior as he was too tough to kill by conventional means. Guy had twice as much health as ordinators I'd say. Or even a bit more than that. And while going around the telvanni mansion in Vivec (yes I was there too ) I tried to use my super killa fros amulet, - kills in 50 ft , I thought that there was noone around, nbut I actually kiled 5 other ppl behind the walls etc . Anyway I had to restart.
Can't wait to get to halls of justice millions walk there
Anyway - to end the story, at the end i decided that was enough searching, and went to find help by convencional means - in other words Google, and guess where is the spell.
Ok I won't tell you if some of you still find it fun searching, but to give you a tip. It is in one of the temples.
Do all temple folks hate you, as I am the Nevarine and Ordinator killa now (but no bounty on my name). I haven't got yet to buy the spell, but if it comes to worst, I guess that a good calm humanoid spell could help with some telvanni bug mask? Any experiences? To buy the spell of some temple bloke.
I will see if i manage to get it tonight. And the Creeper is a cool 1/2 millionare now.
Bet he is happy

One thing I like to do by recalling back to Creeper. Is if I'm in a shrine or something, I will go through the whole thing and make a pile of loot. Then I'll load up the pile and recall back to Creeper.
I did this in one of the vampire strongholds, and really loaded up, with ebony and daedric items, fun! I also found out the importance of an item I made, it was a ring of night eye with constant effect. It's really quiet dark in those vampire strongholds!

OFITG: I liked the Umbra sword a lot, but hated the fact that I couldn't use a shield with it equipped. Block is such a kickass skill in Morrowind that I had to find myself a Katana and sell the Umbra Sword. (Fortunately, Goldbrand is just such a katana...)

Whats the stats on the Umbra Sword.
I found a Deadric Dai-Katanna, with the upper damage on the best attack being 60.

I think that the best attack is 50, but well nothing can come close to spells.
Anyway, I am setup now for the second part of the game, consider this as a break point. I have decided to beef up Creeper, put a Mark spell in front of him, and already I am almost 1/2 millionaire
now I am thinking of leaving all apart from useful enchanted items and finish the game... and start a new character next.
But it will be a while to do all this still...

Yup, best attack (chop) for the Umbra Sword is 10-50. A standard Daedric Dai-Katana is 1-60.
Best weapon I've found so far (not counting enchantments) is a one-handed blunt weapon that does 10-70 damage. It's also got some excellent enchantments on it, but unfortunately it has a "drain fatigue" enchantment so you need a good Athletics skill to use it (otherwise you tire out too quickly). Second-favorite weapon is a katana that does 10-50 damage, plus 10-30 fire damage. (I don't like two-handed weapons very much.)

This Umbra sword is cool as it is one hit kill of those pesky cliff racers, and othere wild beasts.
But I guess the katana that I haven't found yet is even better as is one handed weapon an you can use a shield.
Anyway, three ordinators are exactly over 100000 I got 100782 just a little ago, sooo.. well and they seem to reappear after some time, so it seems like a tree where money grows. I hoped to exterminate them in Vivec, but this doesn't seem likely.
Anyway, I feel like going round and not really follow the quest for a while.
Where can one find/buy many soul gems (empty ones, ) I am running out of them.

If you're looking for Grand and Great soul gems, then you should go Telvanni hunting--many of them are carrying good soul gems on their persons. For the normal and lesser kinds, just go to any enchanter and buy a handful.
There's a quest in Vivec for you to get soul gems in: go to the Telvanni canton and talk to the Enchanter (in the Waistworks). If he likes you enough then he'll send you on a rat hunt. Just kill the rats in his back office (which affords you the opportunity to loot some soul gems also), then kill the rats in the underworks and he'll reward you with 2 grand soul gems.
Or, just get Azura's Star and a Summon Golden Saint spell and never worry about filling soul gems ever again.

thanks
I'll probably go and visit the guy next.
And how do the points scale, Bonelord is 100 points, Winged Twilight 300, Golden Saint 400. Anyone worth more than Golden Saint? And what's up with Azura star, you can use it and than refill it, and Summon Golden Saint - what do you capture their souls when they die or? I assume they are fighting for you, right? Anyway, I will leave this for later, as a few soul gems will do fine for now.

I'm now visiting the Corprusarium with Vanderro, my Dark Elf. He recently found an Ebony shortsword while clearing out that 6th house base - wicked damage and value. It's now my tertiary weapon for when my two enchanteds run out of enchantment. Shame I specialise in Long Blade, really, but it still does a fair amount of damage - and provides Agility level-up bonuses...
I also started a Bosmer thief-type this afternoon. He's a custom class, majors in Security, Sneak, Light Armour, Short Blade and Marksman; minors in Block, Athletics, Restoration, Acrobatics, Speechcraft. Stealth specialised, obviously, with favourite attributes of Agility and Intelligence (more for the RPG effect that last one, although it'll help the security side). I chose the tower as my sign, for the detection and the unlocking before I get good enough. So far I've just retreived Fargoth's stuff, and gone to Balmora. I have a save before giving the package to Caius, so I'll note the coded message down and compare it with the decode and Sottilde's code book sometime. I've also joined the Thieves guild and retreived the diamond(s). I plan to join the Mages and Fighter's guilds as well, just so I can use their services and equipment chests. I will probably join House Hlaalu shortly as well, as they seem well suited to me. Sneak, however, looks to be very hard to level up, since you need to be sneaking somewhere where it is possible for someone to see you to gain any benefit. Ah well.

Ascended Sleepers are also worth 400. I'm pretty sure that nothing is worth more. (I never managed to trap an Ash Vampire's soul, and am pretty sure that it can't be done.)

Yup, rather than disappearing after you use it, Azura's Star can be filled, used, filled again indefinitely.

Summoning spells create monsters that fight for you, so f'rinstance the spell "Summon Ancestral Ghost" will create an Ancestral Ghost that will fight for you until killed (or until the spell's duration expires, usually the durations are 60 seconds). If your Conjuration skill is high enough then you can cast "Summon Golden Saint," cast soul trap on your summoned creature, and then kill your summoned creature. They'll defend themselves if you attack them, but otherwise they'll just stand there (or attack whoever is attacking you at the moment) so you've got plenty of time to cast a combination Soul Trap, Silence, and Paralyze spell on them. (Be careful, though, because Golden Saints will cast Dispel if you cast Soul Trap on them, so I'd recommend that you Silence the thing to prevent this.)

The cheater's way to level up Sneak is to sit in a large room with one person in it, go to the opposite end of the room from them, and use a heavy object to hold down your "sneak" key for awhile. Just be sure that you check on the skill's progress every now and then, because if you increase it too much at once then you'll waste multipliers when you level up.
Security's the one I always had trouble with, mostly because I'd rely too much on spells for unlocking stuff. Got a nice high Alteration skill, but had to pay through the nose to train up Security.

Ok, so 400 that's it, just to fill in the table, 200 for Skeletal Champion.
Ah, so yes, I never tried to attack the being I have just summoned, but just used a couple of skeletal minions while I was still weak to fight all of these blokes properly.
As for the ordionators... well they are a pool of gold, and you have to take the armor off if you don't want the ordinator to ressurect immidiatley, if you take it off they will come back but it takes a day at least or a few days.
And for training, i find it the best to actually get someone train me, as it is easier than doing the same thing over and over again to achieve some skill level.
Just make some money with pearls or raid one outlaw cave, and that should make up for a few training sessions.

The problem is that higher level training can get very expensive. If your Mercantile skill isn't moderately high, then training up a point in a high level skill can cost you upwards of 1,000 GP.

The best way I found to acquire some good non-enchanted weapons is to go on a Daedra hunt (specifically Dremoras and Golden Saints). I regularly find ebony weapons off of these things, and once even found a Daedric Dai-Katana on a Golden Saint. (I also found a Daedric Tower Shield on a Golden Saint, which was the best shield I've found next to Eidelon's.) Even if you wind up getting the wrong kind of weapon, it'll still pay off when you sell it.
You'll never find an "end-game" weapon this way (they're generally unenchanted), but if you're only looking for a secondary or tertiary weapon then I'd suggest that you go delving in some Daedric shrines.

Holy cow!
I just aquired azuras star and, finally having the ability to cast it with a reasonable chance of success, summoned a daedroth (the crocodilian demon) and ensnared it.
The new sale price for the star? 4 875 000 gold!
Now exactly who am I supposed to sell this to?
(If I retain it for much longer my insurance premiums are going to rise just a bit)
I suppose I could do an even swap for the city of Caldera or something.

Don't bother selling it. It's far too useful an artifact to unload for mere gold.

To be honest, I'm starting to need some better enchanted weaponry as well, but cash-flow is still a bit of a problem. I should check the sellers for cheapish, better enchanted weapons. Currently I use "Stormblade", 1-25 lightening damage, and a steel Vipersword 1-something poison damage. I'm also getting reasonably proficient at the Bonebiter bow of Sul-Senipuul.

The best way I found to get good enchanted weapons is to perform Daedric quests (quests for Daedra lords/ladies). Nearly all of the Daedra will give you an excellent weapon as your reward for completing their quest (the only exceptions I can remember offhand being Azura and Mephala).

Where do I find them? Azura's obviously down on the south-east corner, but the others?
