Bit of a pain, but...
Use your favourite graphics package - mine is Paint Shop Pro to 'capture' the screen image and then print from that.
As far as i am aware there is no built in way to print any graphics from Civ - boo hoo

Printing Maps
Does anyone know how to print out the current map that you are playing on? I'm playing a hotseat game with neighbor, and I'd like to devise an ivasion strategy. None of the menu pulldowns allow you to print the map. Any ideas?

Not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean the map in the upper right corner? I suppose if you zoomed out you could get the whole regular map on one screen. Then just hit the print screen button. Then paste it onto MS paint or something similar. Then print if from there.

Get the shareware of "Hypersnap DX" and "capture region" the map that you want.
