How many posts do you REALLY have in Apolyton?
We all know post count does not include the OT posts.
We all know that this is "unfair" to the serious OT posters.
However the number of your overall posts in Apolyton is rather easy to find: go to your profile page, do the "search for all of the user's posts" on the upper right side and see the "topics 1-35 of XXXX" on the upper right of the results page. The XXXX is the number of posts that you have made in all Apolyton forums that are saved in the Apolyton database. Let's call this the "database count". Of course this has nothing to do with your real post count as well as nothing to do with your registered post count. However it can be a measure of your OT postfullness, at least in the most recent times. Note also that a big post count tends to get imprinted in the databse count if you have posted in sections where the posts don't tend to be deleted (f.e. I have alot of posts in the Clash of Civilizations section)
So let's pull them out and compare them!
I have made a poll too, to see who's "old spam" and who's "new spam"...
Here are mine:
(post_count/databse_count)
715/940
Seems that I'm "new spam"...

No problem with that CtG, however your stats are rather pathetic:
4854/693
I even made a search on MarkG and the server survived. He's an old spam of course...

I do not think it works, for many of posts for many of us are in the archives... but I have never had a PCR, and you only got to add a 100 or so to my profile to get the real postcount .

The posts in the archives are included. The only posts that are not included are the ones that get deleted from Apolyton.

But my real post count is a lot higher than 4304, it should be like 8000/9000 by now, and not because of OT not counting but because of unjustified post count reductions on behalf of evil modship
I have more database posts than PH

Good lord. I never expected it to be that much. I was even speculating that it would be less then my OT count. Oh well.
Oh, and about 1300 of those OT posts are from the Suomithreadis.

But I'm not sure this works correctly, I still post often on topic, and those are counted, so there has to be duplication, so the totals should be less, if I understand this correctly.

At that posting rate, "old ghost" is the relevant term. I was one too, until recently.
One might want to make a breakup of his posts, by performing individuals searchesin each forum. F.e. I have:
only 3 posts in the Civ2 section
and only 10 posts in the Civ3 section
304 in Alt.Civ./Other games section
...of which 274 posts in Clash of Civilisations
27 posts in Apolyton/Community
529 posts in the Off Topic
73 posts in the Archive
...of which 37 posts in OT Archive
