Can Someone Find Me a New Political Party to Join?
I'm serious. I'm sick of the leadership of the Republican Party. Some of the local Reps and town leaders are good guys, but the top are a bunch of loonies!
Bush has become a ****ing isolationist (what, with the whole trying extorsion with with UN over the ICC). We strut like our **** don't stink and then wonder why people dislike us?!
Ack! I'm tired of this bullcrap! I liked the tax cut (well, some of it anyway), but the steel tariffs? What the Hell?! Why not alienate others.
And of course the idiot called Sharon a 'man of peace'
So, I'm thinking of being a Libertarian, but they are wackjobs themselves, what with eliminating the income tax .
So, maybe I'll be an indep. *shrug*
Got any ideas?

There are idiots and morons in EVERY party...
But there are also some good people too. You just have to look hard for them.
So be an indy and vote for people who should be voted for. Vote based on who they are and what they stand for, not because they are a member of some party.

I know, but parties are fun .
And after all, in local elections, how do you vote on what people stand for anyway when you don't know?

Join the Horde!
You get the tax cuts and no steel tarriffs!
Sure we've got our share of wack-jobs, but everyone has wack jobs. Vote your conscious, join a party that you agree with. Be a Libertarian!

Ozzy, I'll be voting Lib like 60% of the time, I'm sure. But PLEASE get rid of Browne and take out that dumb anti-income tax plan.... and the whole anti-foriegn aid I hate. I want MORE foreign aid.
Basically, I'm a moderate, feminist, internationalist, Libertarian .

I seriously doubt we'll see Browne again. Two runs is more than enough, we'll find someone better in '04.
and feminist? check out http://www.ifeminists.com/ its a libertarian/individualist feminist group.
And no one has to agree with any political party 100% of the time, I'm pro-life and the party's official position is pro-choice, I'm ok with that.
If you don't want to officially join, thats cool with me, I'm actually not a card carrying member of the party. But I am registered as a libertarian, and I am active in local and national libertarian politics. See, thats the cool thing about this party, its small enough yet you can make a difference. If you think there are wack-jobs (and there sure are) then work to raise the quality of candidates and leaders.

I cannot stand the Republican party. But I despise the Democrats so I joined neither one. I vote for the man not the party. I think the whole idea of a two party system is wrong.

I've yet to find a political party in any nation that I agree with on most issues.

I don't want him in their anyway. He's all about sucking in as much as he can get while doing as little as he can. I've seen it with the whining after 911 (no desire to do anything...just poor little Imran) and the lying to his parents about the girlfreind while getting them to pay for grad school.
I'd rather have you or monk or a bunch of leftists who at least seem to have some character.
i guess character and political opinion are a 2 by 2 matrix.

And GP, $41,000 in loans really mean my parents are paying for grad school . Thanks for being an idiot... again. You've won the imbecile prize again, play again tomorrow .

GP: Who hasn't lied to their parents about girlfriends (or boyfriends)? Hell, my parents don't even know that I've been on a single date yet.

Join the Communist Party of America...
or Worker Socialist Party....
but just don't join those parties that are "wack".
I've noticed that local politics here are different, yet the same. The Democrats here have been in power so long that they have forgotten about the people and only focus on the unions and the main industries here....whereas the Republicans here are more family-oriented and wanting more healthcare...etc.
Talking with my parents, we've come up with the conclusion that the Demo's here are like the Republicans on the mainland, and the Repub's here are like the Demo's up there......everything is topsy-turvy.

The two parties don't really stand for anything, its all about staying in power, they would sell out their mothers if they could get votes. Look at Bush with steel tarriffs. Look at Clinton balancing the budget. They all sway whichever way the political breeze is blowing. Third parties are the way to go.

Stay in the Republicans, Imran, and work to change them from the inside. Then at least you get to wield a primary vote.

I think you are best standing on your own Imran, the US political parties seem a little homogeneous, although I suppose you could join the Greens, seems that at the moment you'd fit in there better than anywhere else (and that's not very well )

I'm gonna show up at your door with a thin black tie and a white shirt to share with you the gospel of Murry Rothbard. Then we will wisk you away to a secret compound in Montana (all the libertarians live up there anyways) where we will shoot out on the rifle range and smoke dope all day long. We will sing Kumbaya and talk economic policy late into the night. It'll be a blast man.
And once the feds catch on we'll have a real gas fighting off those fascist bastards!

Yup, I think I've finally had my eye's opened. Well, I'm a registered Demo voter but in this upcoming election I'm just gonna vote for the person. Right now I think I want Linda Lingle for governor (she'd be the first femal gov. of Hawaii).
