The native settlement of Apache Hills has been added to the Irish empire. The natives are reported to be less then amused.

Hah! Contrary to the expectations of the skraelings, we have not yet drowned in their blood. In fact, we are so unasphyxiated that we have captured Cedar Falls.

Irish warriors have continued to slaughter the natives of the great plains.

Our battered troops withdraw from the walls of Patzcuaro. Those barstards just keep on comin'.
On the bright side, a bunch of native warriors seem to be clogging the Panama isthmus so that Meso-American Eagle Knights can't even get to Panama to bother us.

Slaves For Sale
Fine quality barbarians, hard, fast laborers willing to put in a hard day's work for a mouth of food.
Buy now, the market is inflated and this will be as low as they'll come! Don't worry, these southern savages barely bite and make a great toy for your teenage daughters!

Road to Chippewa Completed
Slaves have completed the Viking road to Chippewa. The chief engineer was heard boasting that, if a virgin couldn't walk unmolested from New Hladir to Chippewa yet, they could at least damn well try with the road in place.

Irish warriors have taken the native township of Tamuin. As Roman settlements block their path to the south, our armies will redirect their campaigns to the North and West.

- Patzcuaro finally falls; the road to Tenochtitlan is open.
- Another Viking longship ends its turn directly adjacent to NeoRome. What is this Leo, are you just having fun with me or what?

I don't remember doing that.
/me checks
There is one five tiles away and one eight tiles away in the save that I've uploaded. Did someone play two turns by accident?
What is this Leo, are you just having fun with me or what?
No, not yet.

Aw f**k, it was Phoenician, sorry. With the buildings and the population number blocking most of the trireme, both ships look kinda similar...

There are rumours of a new Phoenician general.

Soon, southern friend, the outlines of our ships will become bloodily imprinted in the backs of your people's retinas. Muwahaha.

I do hope I had time to unload my caravan from that ship (can't remember).
In any event the phoenicians hold the Romans responsible for this and demand reparations for the lost ship (and possibly caravan)!
You must've gotten atleast a hint as the romans and the pheonicians where at peace, would you prefer for me to look upon this as a declaration of war?
Hendrubal has spoken.

Journal of Wong Tzu, Southern Marine Corps
Awaiting my evening tea serimony, an uncouth foreigner unlike the barbarians we have been fighting approached the camp. While absolutely lost, he was glad to be relieved of his message. It went thus:
Report:
Captured Cempoala and Tenochtitlan, Rome is great, Rome is cool, etc.
He also gave us an odd, flat square with metal that slides on one end. He mysteriously said that the save was within. Here is what it looks like:

Journal of Wong Tzu, Continued
As he departed our presence, I felt that this appearance had been both an omen of good fortune, and an omen of drastic change in our approach to foreign affairs. Immediatly as night fell, I ordered my men to board ship for we were to fall upon another city, greater than before.
The defenders, still woosy by the drowsy night of drinking alchohol, were completely unprepared for the onslaught of our ships. Apatzingan is the newest addition to the empire of the setting sun. Interestingly, a great road leads out from this city. More, richer cities dwell inland, but we shall leave them be for now. Marines are trained for sea assaults, the land warfare is for Cho Ku Nos and Fuedal Lords.
Still, I must commend my marines. So quickly, so valiantly did they fight, that most of the city remained intact, particularly the walls. I am pleased.
