Right, simple rules.
Armies can move one province per turn. They begin in your capital. They cost 3 credits.
Fleets can move one sea per turn. They begin in the sea nearest your capital, and can't move for that turn. They cost 5 credits.
TRANSPORTING
You can transport an unlimited number of armies from ONE province to ONE destination province using one fleet. To get troops from another province to the same destination province in that turn(or from the same province to a different destination in that turn), you must use another fleet.
The destination MUST border the sea that the fleet is currently in, or an adjacent sea. Fleets can convoy as soon as they are produced, and can move and then transport.
However, if they are transporting to a province that only borders the one they are currently in, then they cannot move for that turn.
DISPUTED TERRITORY
If two nations try to take the same province, the one with the larger force takes it and the other retreats, unless the smaller force has orders to take it at all cost.
Equal forces create a disputed territory(unless one side has orders to take it at all costs), in which neither owns it but both have forces there. This can only be resolved by combat, diplomacy or one side moving out(or moving more in so they outnumber the enemy).
Fleets of different nations can occupy the same sea so long as they aren't at war(they will fight if they are), and you can send your troops through your ally's provinces so long as he agrees. If he doesn't, then his forces will defend against you.
Finally, you get 3 credits from each province, and 5 from your capital and manufacturing centres. Manufacturing centres provide a place other than your capital where units can be built. They cost 25 credits to build.
Also, each fleet or army costs 1 credit per turn upkeep. This will be automatically taken away in the credit list that I post with each map update.
Simple enough?
Chris

Okay, I need orders in from Metaliturtle, thrusters_back(legible ones please, read the simplified rules above), SKILORD, Toasty and Trickey.
Hopefully by midnight tonight, if I get enough orders in by then then I will update the map and make the moves for those who haven't sent orders. If I don't get enough, then midnight tomorrow.
All times are GMT.

MAP UPDATE
Hmmm...
Very interesting today lol. Metaliturtle forgot to make any buys at all, just moves, so I took the liberty of making a few buys for him(don't want undefended territory lol, and I boosted the defence where it looks like you will be attacked). Metaliturtle, if you didn't want any buys, only moves, then tell me and I'll correct it.
thrusters_back sent me more orders, but one move doesn't make orders! I've worked out a few provinces he wants, and so I will try and take them for him, and do the rest of his turn. No offence thrusters, but READ THE GODDAMNED RULES!
Toasty gave his orders on CivFanatics, but forgot to on here, so I will move for him.
I am also moving for Libya, as they are still free(seems like I'm playing the game by myself lol!).
Also, well done to SKILORD, who managed to be the only one out of the three who have just joined who actually gave in good orders!
Trickey, 32 isn't adjacent to your capital, so what was left over(3 armies) are currently in 11, on their way there. To make them continue to 32, you must in your next orders say so.
Here's the map:
CREDITS FOR THE NEXT TURN(upkeep already taken away)
Spain has 19 credits to spend!
Sweden has 19 credits to spend!
Russia has 21 credits to spend!
Italy has 12 credits to spend!
Britain has 18 credits to spend!
Austria has 15 credits to spend!
France has 12 credits to spend!
Prussia has 22 credits to spend!
Turkey has 34 credits to spend!
Libya has 18 credits to spend!
TO SEE WHAT ARMIES IN A FLEET LOOK LIKE, GO TO THE CIVFANATICS VERSION AT:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showth...threadid=25529
And look at Sea E.
MAJOR RULE CHANGE
Now fleets can only carry UP TO 4 armies at a time. This is due to the restrictions on showing them on the map(one white square on each corner of the fleet, each is an army).
TO SPAIN
FROM LIBYA
We allowed you to take 22, and to have 21 and 20, in the hope you will sign a MPP with us.
Good luck everyone!
And here's the link for poor SKILORD:

Sorry guys, was typing in the title and pressed return, then had to edit post to add it again.
What you saw was while I was editing it...
It's nothing compared to what happened on CF lol, I did the entire post, when to post it, and there was a server error. I pressed the back button, and cause of the loading time, it all disappeared!

His Highness is pleased with the new map.
His Empire was in a sad state. He would have to stretch the funds to provide it with reasonable defenders. He began a letter:
Dear Moderator Sir:
I s it legal for me to request a loan from an ally. That is all.
Dear Prussian Leader:
I would like to know, assuming loans are leagal if you would be willing to spare a few credits which i could pay back on a per turn basis.
With Any Luck he would be able to get on his feet before the attack his spy networks were telling him was iminent. They could tell him no more than that but his Eyes and Ears in the Swedish court were telling him little of his ally's readiness. little actually at all. he sighed, he would have to go talk to his Prime Minister for advice.

I have to congratulate you on the setup...the borders are almost exactly those of the 1800's (though more like pre-WWI than 1800).
To Prussia: I am very worried about the French buildup near your southern border. I would recommend you move defenses there, and i will transport defenses via my navy in E asap. I have told the Great Alliance secretly that I am siding with them, but they have still refused to divulge to me much of their plans other than that Russia is with them.

To: My allies
From: Spanish Government
As I am not at the front lines of war, I will support all the nations through naval power in the seas. As major naval building will not start until next turn, my navy will run superior to that of any other navy.
To: Lybia
From: Empire of Spain
I am extremely happy in your decision to withdraw with out a fight. I reach my hands out to you in Mutual Protection.

CLARIFICATION OF RULES - What happens when you lose your capital?
If you lose your capital, you may build a temporary one for 10 credits.
This new capital can build units the same turn it is bought, but has a few restrictions:
Armies cost 5 credits when bought in a temp. capital.
It cannot build fleets.
You may only have one temporary capital.
You never get the 10 credits back.
But with a few good points:
The militia of a temp. capital fights the same as one from a capital.
If an enemy captures your temporary capital, it is disbanded, and you can build another.
When you recapture your capital, your temporary capital is disbanded.
A province with a temporary capital in it gives you 5 credits.

Metaliturtle, I told you what was wrong with the map. It won't be updated until the next turn, but I already have it updated in the next turn's map.

I can't. I don't have orders from Toasty, SKILORD, trickey(I need buys trickey, you can't just order one bit! If you don't want any buys, please say so in the PM!), and Metaliturtle(talked to him about last turn's moves, but not about this turn's).
Anyway, Civman has given me a list of objectives that his nation should follow while he is away.
So those who don't have orders in, please get them in by tomorrow night(I'm slowing it down to every two days at the fastest, for eveyone's sake and for mine!).
