I've been away.
My vote = the left out "other" option

oic. next time i should add "No, i was not here or did not have time", or simpler: "No"?
But you should put in Yes because now you are here.
If you are not here, then you cant vote.

"Yes, i vote in polls and post in threads"
I didn't vote in any of the polls, and i didn't post in any of the threads. not an option for me.
"Yes, i vote in polls, but dont post in threads"
See above. not an option for me.
"No, i do not vote and do not post, but still watch it"
Well, I didn't vote, and I didn't post, but I, also, wasn't "watching". not an option for me.
"No, i already left this game"
I have not left the game (seeing as I'm here now ). not an option for me.
As you can see none of these options fall under my situation. Which would be: I will be around once in a while but not that often. Basically often enough to see if the empire is alive or not. When I come around I will, also, vote in a few polls. IMO, an "other" option is more appropriate for me, but all in all it doesn't really matter. I guess you could label me as a tweener.

ok. i will surely include "NO, other reason" in the census-polls in future.
i would say:
Yes, vote+post
Yes, post only
Yes, vote only
No, only wathing
No, i left the game
No, Other
this would give 3 Yes and 3 No options. Any other proposals?

we can skip voting in here from now on. i have put a litte too long uptime on the poll ;-)
from monday on i will put up census polls for every week. if this shows to be too much, we can still go down to a monthly basis later.
i would like to discuss the possible options now, my proposal in my last thread.
i will propably put up the poll on sunday nights or monday mornings (CET) and keep it up for 5 days.
i will also request those polls topped and the old ones untopped and closed.
the polls will be named citizen census week #, where # is the calendar week the poll started. Maybe i also put up a excel-sheet with the results to make stats out of it...

I'm glad we can't edit polls. It would lead to clear abuses, such as : I edit the option which got most votes, and I write there the option I want to win (say, I replace Yes by No)

The problem is that the people voted on the poll the way it was worded when they voted.
What is much better would be to have a discussion thread going on BEFORE the poll is posted so that options can be considered, instead of having 4 polls for one thing because new things popped up.

The naming city polls are the ones that always comes to my mind. Way too many polls for one issue, with the results being reasked too many times.

I do vote and I do post but I do not vote on those polls that I do not care about the result and I do not post as much as many others here.

No, was just explaining why some citizens feel left out, and either don't vote and/or post.

i still try to find out wheter we can get the poll sticky. do i have to pm a mod?

Obviously, you figured it out since I'm responding to your PM by sticking the thread you requested, and closing this one, as you also requested.
