could you actaully publish what the V means?
a nazi site claimed it was supposed to mean "victory" and is actaully a mind controlling thing related to the Magen david.
I'd hate to think it was true.

The bent gun looks painful. Don't forget to notice the cables keeping it from falling over.

Of course I could be talking out of my ass. I have never seen a leclerc, but I have seen the abrams in action and they are amazing

I agree.
The Abrams has never lost in a tank to tank battle, until they do, they will be the best. Has the Leclerc ever been in a tank to tank battle?

Soviet T-72 and T-80s in the Gulf War. The T-80 and M-1 were both new tanks then.

No offense or anything Eli, but that tank doesn´t look the great... you want a good tank check out the Ariete C1 Italy manufactures... instead of getting parts from Germany you should get them from Italy.
|
Oh stop it giani. Everyone knows the Ram isn't up to par with the other main MBTs.

"T-80s "
No T-80's. Although the Iraqi's employed M-84 Yugoslav built T-72's. Kind of like a T-72 on steroids.

well i dont think a lone t-80 would count. Say if 100 of them ran into 'red force' on its way to kuwait city from the east then yes. But one lone T-80 I dont think is much to consider.
It might be true. But then i remember the rumours of the Iraqi's burying an atomic bomb in the western desert so as to invite a flanking manuever.

Well unless there have been more tank competitions, the german and russian tanks are still rated the best in the world.

How can they be rated the best when (Russian) they lost each and every tank battle to the M1. To my knowledge the German tank has yet to do battle with another tank.

Thats a great accomplishment, a M1 beat some WW2 tanks with half the range.
Tank competitions are held to determine the worlds best tanks, so that countries with billions to spend in defence can determine what tanks they want to buy.

so is turkey buying merkava or not?
there were negotiations they would buy croatian (ex-yu) tanks... I bet they would cost half price of the merkavas. I dont know what kind of devilish deal israelis proposed to them
but I dont follow tanks closely so I dont know.
