Remember "The Box"? On Channel 10? Belinda Giblen flaunting 'em? Nah, you were both probably too young. Your folks wouldn't have let you watch it.

I remember "The Box". Never saw it but it was widely discussed on the school payground. There was always one kid who could watch stuff like that and report back.

It was fun to write. Especially bits like ... "Tracey, glistening, fresh from the shower, walks out of the bathroom looking for a towel".

Whadya reckon?
I reckon this is way off topic, huh Makeo?
My favourite early Aussie drama series was a show called "Dynasty"
And while we're off-topic does anyone remember Stuart Wagstaffs Playhouse - he showed a brilliant feature once called "The Stone Tapes".
Would love to see it again but I think it disturbed half of the ABC viewers so much they erased it!

Created and written by Tony Morphett. It actually started life as a novel, but it was withdrawn and pulped for libel reasons. The "media mogul family" too closely resembled a rather prominent Australian media mogul family. So Tony rejigged it and turned it into the TV series.

I don't recall it. What vintage? Was it Oz stuff? Or imported?

I might post one when I get home.
Basically makeo got phobic about playing another session of this game so he conceded it to me.
At the end it was horse 18 cities and 85 units to makeo 13 cities and 48 units.
In the new game we're 6 cities apiece and just made contact after 1 session. First blood to makeo.

This is the time to be playing down the line Hydey, no rash shots. Get your defence in shape and the scoring opportunities will come.

You're far better dealing in AFL parlance than tennis with Hydey. Talk about zone defence or man-on-man. Yes, I know that's basketball parlance, but that's the way AFL has gone. Tragically. One of the many reasons why I turned to rugby.

It was, too. You're quite right. Sorry. Serves me right for speed reading. Still, he hasn't troubled the scorer all that much recently, so I'd still suggest you try some AFL parlance. OTOH, Carlton is now definitely going to collect the wooden spoon for the first time in about 100 years, so maybe AFL isn't the go after all.
Ah! He posted a pic of his golf trophy! Perhaps you could suggest that he just keep it in the fairway. And if he gets into trouble, play the percentages and get it back into play. And don't go trying to hole 20 metre monsters leaving himself 2 metre knee-tremblers coming back.

He should get MYOB. MYOB does it all in about ten seconds.

I'm sure you think you're jesting. MYOB is a Godsend once you know how to use it. Trouble is, you have to pay a consultant to come and show you. The instruction manuals are denser than ... I might just leave it at that ...

It verges on fraud. You get two instruction manuals but they are totally impenetrable. And the consultant - MYOB licenses accountants to be consultants - charge about $100 an hour to help you set up the system. It's all tax-deductible, which doesn't stop it being fraudulent.
