Everyone, note the faint teal border in the second pic... we have reason to believe that the Americans are there.
The dye is within their borders.
So we have another rival, one possibly as bad-off as we are. Should we revise Code Pink to account for the Yankees?
Edit: Thank Uber for being the first to notice it.

I'm posting overview pictures in my Report II thread, so pictures like these won't really be necessary anymore. Only for true military junk, since you can find the exact same thing at the top.

Ok, well I suggest we conquer France first. The Americans appear to be in the same jungle position we are, so it won't help us to capture their land, just yet.

I officially suggest calling warrior 1
"Damian" scourger of the french
for in years to come no fenchie will dare even to wisper his name.

We must scout more before we set our minds to who's first. First should be they who are a balance of the closest and with the best land.
PS. Excellent maps Uber. I appreciate your efforts.

Mr. SMC, SIR!
May the private respectfully suggest building 2 Warriors rather than Barracks, SIR!

in Apolyton? hrm.
IMHO, we do not need mroe "scouting" warriors, so the only poaint for more warriors would be garrisioning and whatnot.
all i know is that i need barracks before we start building units, and that building the barracks now is the BEST fit.
sure, it overlaps time were we could be building a settler, but if we SWITCHED them, we'd have a settler ready a turn early, making a turn of no production.
in our suitation, every turn matters.
if you have another use for 2 more warriors, i'd love to hear it

we do need to scout more to assess targets, but barracks are essential.

Set one to build a barracks and the other to build a settler. Then switch? either way, we need to have both in order to move forward. The sooner Blue and red are on line, the better off both of them will be.

Great modified pics. We need to concentrate our forces, and thought, towards france, once the French are subjugated, then we can crush the Americans, it's all falling into place isn't it SMC? All we need to do now is actually do it !!!!

It seems to me that the second Spearman in the attack force is superflous. Any towns beyond Paris will most likely be autorazed, and thus the only purpose for sending the second one would be Archer protection. For the moment, I would bet that the mountain range extends to the WNW, and thus I'm not overly concerned.
I propose building 1 Warrior after the Barracks is built... leave it there until the Settler is built, then send it to explore, north and then west, using the pattern Uber points out. It can also return to act as a rover in the attack, if appropriate.
I'm not sure of the math, but this should accelerate D-day by 4 turns.
And hopefully helps lift us out of blindness.
Also, is there any reason not to intrude on France's territory on the 2nd turn of the far western Warrior's exploration?

To be successful in this gambit, we need more exploration to learn the extent of the other 2 civs. Which could change our strategy, or not. We need to see where there are at. Histograph and Power charts will help some on that.
