Pausing the Information Display
I just discovered something new (to me) about the "Data MFD" (that's the window located in the lower center of the screen that displays either messages or information). To pause the display of information, move your mouse pointer into the window. This allows you to examine a graph, chart or whatever as long as you wish.
Thought others might find this tip useful.

Also useful (if you never knew about it): if you click the right-hand button in the same window you get a menu of charts, etc that you can select.

On a related note, if you left-click in the window it advances to the next screen of information.
