Yeah...I'd much rather live where there is a lot of humidity, roving reptiles and giant unidentifiable insects.

Don't start this sh*t Hydey
You were given every opportunity to put an opinion, I went to some lengths to consult you by kc and icq.
You said absolutely nothing until after a decision had been taken to stop the game. And I thought it was pretty low of you to then speak up and try and make us feel like heels with your whining about how well you were doing in that game.

Its ok Horse I will still play when I get a crappy start as usual . As I said to you on ICQ, finbar stated he was going to pull the pin as he had got a bad start and was boxed in by myself and Makeo, Finbar is a big boy and had obviously made up his mind , I saw no reason to try and argue with an adult man who had clearly made a rational decision (in his mind) about continueing a game he did not want to play.
I did mention on king chat that I wanted to continue but that I realised finbar (sooky la la ) was going to quit.
I'm sure there will be many other games that I get a good start in that get stopped just as there will be many games that I suck in that continue.

Yes well I was surprised too because I've played out many games coming last with crap land. I find bad starts have different challanges and I enjoy those games as much.
Anyway Hydey I was bit grumpy last night after 12 hours of moving, jack knifing the trailer, packing and unpacking, cleaning, so maybe I wasn't thinking straight myself

You should have to have a special endorsement to drive a 4WD...they can be quite dangerous in the hands of an amateur.

It wasn't the quality of the land it was the lack of land. The game had a freak start with 3 of the 4 players starting right beside each other. Hydey started 12 squares from me. My problem was that I was stuck in the middle - Hydey and Makeo had plenty of room to expand east and west (respectively) - and I had room for about 7 cities maximum, rendering the situation, in the scheme of things, pointless. I wasn't even in a position to play a "stopper" game.
What I should have done was distribute my existing cities between Hydey and Makeo - depending on how many cities they already had - and retire. That option occurred to me too late.

So? I've played out many hopeless situations like that.
It would have been interesting to see what you made of that start. I would have tried to make the best of it because I pretty much enjoy any start. Actually I couldn't give a f*ck if I'm coming first or last because I just enjoy playing with you guys
