Funny how that bald spot on his head is an exact match with Mrs Horse's thumb.

I'm waiting to see whether Deity till trade the pepper for the salt with Horse on July 20th or whether Deity will choose to go without salt for the sake of contrariness.

Well, with great respect to the people whom I otherwise adore, I have to concede that their handle on inspired architecture since circa the 17th Century has been on the tenuous side. Some of what you see over there these days brings tears to the eyes.

Due to a prior engagement in Las Vegas, I will be unable to attend your dinner. Please give my regards to the lovely hostess, and make sure no one urinates in the planter boxes.
(BTW, Hydey, that Mrs. Horse thumb thing was a good shot!)

Oh I don't know - I think there are some genuine Tuscan influences here - the low red tile roof, the arches.
In fact I must get some photos of Tuscan villa's for the reno
I can say that you need to stand next to this place to appreciate just how f*cking massive it is - no cement or brick was spared. The gate you can see on the sides are 6 feet high.
There's even a spare pallete of brick around the back, which I presume was for the smokehouse and curing hams (these smokehouses are quite common down here).

Aren't they for drying the stuff the cops grow down there?
BTW, did the builders incorporate any red, white and green into the colour scheme?

What do you weigh, Hydey? We just went out and bought 8 new dining chairs for July 20. Given that Horse is about 6'4" and 15 stone, I think we've catered for him. How about you?

Not really. Deity measured him last time, after one too many bourbons, at about 15 1/2 hands. About average for a neddy.

Jeez, Hydey, I thought you'd have learned by now. Wives know what you say and write about them. Even if they're a million miles away. Even with no internet access. It's one of those weird, weird things. They just know.

Deity has pretty much turned into the invisible man as far as our regular games go - the guest appearance on Friday was nice though.
His play wasn't slow either

You've heard of invisible spot remover? Once too often to the bottle, I think.

Do you think Hydey will get nukes in our 3 way?

He'll get nukes, but you're heading for destroyers, et al. Your fame for a naval bombardment followed by boatfuls of troops precedes you.

Well you have this way of making people feel bad about attacking you and since you are cooking, the naval option is probably less attractive in this game
And anyway - you have open borders

Hmmm. Maybe I'm onto a breakthrough in military tactics. I wonder if I suggested to Osama Bin Laden to invite George Witless Bush to dinner, promise to cook something really nice ...

Something in the pork family would be appropriate. Might be some conflict on Osama's end though.
