Cool.
My game is broken. Could you (or someone else for that matter) post (a) screenshot(s)? A close-up of Europe is always a thing to have for world maps, gives a good indication of the level of detail...
Also, could I add it to the file database? If so, I need the following things from you: a (full/official) name, a description of what it is (as long or short as you want it to be) and a version number (if other than v1.0). If you want to, you could also give me a logo and/or screenshot, but I'd be happy to use the logo in the zip as well.

Looks, nice, ískallin, but one more question: how many nations can you choose from? Which ones?

Any change of a normal map size of this
Huge 400*400 is a fantastic piece of work but I prefer the quicker less cites normal size maps.
If you could do this for SAP2.0 you will cover Huge and Normal map size preferences for people.

Nice work!
It's always seems so weird not to have a world map included in the origonal game, so this is great.
Anychance of a 'fullscreen' zoomed out screenshot('-' key on num-pad) so we can see it in all it's glory?(might be nice for the news item too?)
I can't download it for a few days! so.......

Euhm... there *is* a world map in the original game... Okay, it s*cks bigtime but it *is* a world map...
Nah, the news isn't supposed to get too heavy on the graphics (28k modem users have to be taken into account) and currently it already has relatively many pics and tables and stuff (and the visible wonders mod is about to be released, that also requires a screenshot accompanying the news). But a nice zoomed out screenshot of the entire planet would be nice/useful...

Heh!Heh! yeah i noticed that next time i played CTP2, maybe i was getting mixed up with CTP1(hopeful!). But it is a pretty poor map(i mean about 7 tiles for the uk!! - ok we are small but that's just not playably realistic), so i guess it's easy to forget about.
Hmmm.....yeah i would love to see a zoomed out version of iskallin's map

ískallin,
Bah, now I have to make another news item
I don't have the game here at uni, is that MM2 scenario exactly identical to the AP one?
Sorry BTW, it'll take me a little longer than I thought to add the files to the db, but I haven't forgotten about it...

Well, we have world maps for WAW (made by EmperorMatthewI, although that one only has 8 civs), AP and MM2. So the only major mod that's still missing is Cradle... *hint* *hint*
But if you have nothing better to do, a 'proper' map for WAW (with all civs playable) and one for GoodMod would be very nice to have as well... the community would be most grateful I'm sure...

That sound great ískallin!
I have started playing on the bril gigantic World map for MM2 that you did. Game speed is not as bad as I thought due to max # of cites size restrictions in CTP2.
What would be perfect is a world map size b/w it and the crappy world map supplied with the game. I think that would be classified as a map size of Huge for CTP2 as the world map supplied by CTP2 is Normal I think.
Though this would be more work than just fixing the standard normal size world map.
Is it winter in Iceland?? I guess this will determine how much time you fancy spending on these.
It was asked of me once(15 years ago) why Australian's don't do many demo's ie Commodore 64 days. Answer b/c the weather doesn't get too cold here and our parents tell us to go outside to Play. hahaha!!
Your work certainly has gotten people playing CTP2 again as I have emailed your maps to many people and with MM2 and SAP2 the game is good.

The fact that you're a settler refers to the amount of posts, which you've had on Apolyton. As your post count increases, your status will change to Chieftan, Warlord, Prince, etc.

Heh! You didn't tell us what mod the small map is for...
Anyone had a chance to test it by any chance, and can tell us on which mod it works? I want to post a news item about it but can't until I know what mod it's for (and still don't have a PC to play the game on myself)
