What I intended was that if anyone was voting for me, they would be voting for a name, rather than a party. That doesnt remove me from the party tho.

Thanks for the clarification. I could see where the other one could have been misleading.

Official request of The Jungle Gazette
Not really a campaign question, more of a request.
Could whoever is elected please inform me of the following, since I cannot make turnchats, and some of these may not be reported.
Those annoying popups 5 most _____ nations....(try to include whole thing)
If a city enters disorder.
City contracts disease.
Barbarian uprising (what was our setting, anyway?)
Completed wonder and where (when not us)
If you put them in your report, I will find them, if not, could you just send me a little note? I can make good stories on all these.

Listen, hotshot, you're currently under the microscope of the public eye who is trying to determine who would be the best President for our nation. You ought to lighten up a bit and understand that we are all interested in your motivations as well as your qualifications for running.
No one appreciates their reasons or motivations being questioned, but that is what you should expect from us, the voting public, on the eve of such an important election.

And I can see that you skipped by my very first campaign post requesting none of this flaming be put in.

First, I'd like to know which comments were, in your opinion, "quite dumb and insulting",
Second, I'd like know why this Presidential Campaign thread suddenly became a "rehash the past" flame war with me?? Why are you bringing up old posts? What does it prove? What good does it do you? Do you want me to start quoting your old flames against me? Then this would degenerate into just another pointless thread.
Sheesh! Redirect your hatred and hostility towards your political opponent and focus on trying to convince the masses that you'd be a better candidate.
I'm dissapointed in you, Ninot. If that's a "flame" then so be it.

Anyways. *Cracks his knuckles*
Only a day and a half until the election. I feel this campaign has been smear-less compared with many others, so may the election itself go the same way.
Ninney, good luck, I salute you!
|
Agreed Trip.
Good luck to you as well. I wish you the best in the election. Losing to you would truly be no loss to anyone.

In the effort of keeping the public the most knowledgeable as possible, I would always keep people such are yourself informed. After all, I presume you would make great use of the info with the Jungle Gazette.

This has indeed been the most interesting campaign to date. Best of luck to the both of you, and to whomever is elected, prepare to be interviewed for my second issue.
