Announcement and question
I am pleased to announce that I will henceforth be starting a paper. The working title at the moment is The Jungle Gazette. Got a better one? post below.
It seems that the previous attempts have been abandoned, and I will now be committing my resources to bringing you a weekly edition. I will do so in a fair and unbias manner, despite my personal views on issues. This is a service, not a stage. Don't beleive me DIA members? Ask Timeline, he will tell you if I have been fair...
I shall include:
News section:
Here I will provide links to discussions, polls, and general things of interest for the public. One can find game info currently, this will be all other info and debates relating to our community. Each link will have a brief explaination of its contents.
Question to parties:
Each week I will pose a question to the political parties. These will be followed by a link to their sign ups, helping us see what the parties truly stand for, and aiding us in choosing, or not, sides. It will also aid newcomers who are not familiar with the history of our parties.
Interview with a Minister:
Each week, I will choose a Minister to interview. You can see my first question has been posed to ALL candidates on the "open question" thread. If you have a preferance who I interview, feel free to say, I will consider.
Stories:
Here I will accept articles from anyone. Stories from the front, a day in the life of a soldier, plague hits Banana HQ, statement from non-political groups, whatever inspires you, send it to me, and I will add it. Stories should contain a headline, and a signiture (be it you, or a made up reporter), the rest is up to you.
My question to the public: Should I make a subscription list, where I can either PM or e-mail a link to subscribers to save you the joy of attempting to sort through all the other posts?
The first edition will be out Saturday. Have a story? PM me, it will be added.
To the Parties: I PM'ed your leaders (Trip and Duddha for UFC, Timeline for DIA) with my request for this weeks question. Go and knock their heads, I have no definitive answers from any of them what thier answers are, deadline is Friday.
Leaders: can't remember, lost the PM message, ask me, I will send again.
Candidates: PLEASE answer the question...
Suggestions? Additions? now is the time to speak up.

I think a subscription system would be a good Idea. It would cut down on the board clutter. I also think your paper would be a good source of information if someone were to say, go away for a while and wants to catch up whats been going on.
I'd like to subscribe. Please PM the upcoming issue.

We need this, and I've really missed our earlier, lapsed efforts. I will try to work something up.
PM distribution sounds feasible. (Sign me up. )
(I'll try to put together a contribution.)

As we previously discussed, I will forward my letters from my exile in the wilderness to you. I will try to get you one for your first edition.
Yours truly,

I want to subscribe.
One suggestion: if you get a lot of subscribers, you should distribute by e-mail instead of PM, because you can only send PM's to one person at a time, and there is a 90 second wait between sending PM's.

Very true. Well, the subscription list is becomming my budy list, so I can do 5 at a time. We will see how it goes. I will be asking for editors in the first issue, so I may just put them in charge of a few, me a few, so on. Instructions will follow for editors, do not reply yet, I am having enough trouble keeping my notes and inbox straight for the first issue. It will settle after that is released.

I will suscribe.
I have faith in you UnOrthOdOx, and I know you are above trying to influence people with your personal ideals by making a well written and exclusive newspaper. When I say exclusive I mean it will be the only paper available, and for now will be unchallenged, so your responsibility here to keep the paper unbiased is of utmost importance.
That said, I completely trust you, and encourage everyone to help support UnOrthOdOx in this noble attempt.

I subscribe for the next 4000 years, i.e. approximately 200000 issues.
