Help!
Hi,

I'm back (I bet nobody missed me ).
I've had a tough time lately, school keeps pissing me off.
But after next weekend, there'll be only maths to worry about, so I can pick up my Civ2 stuff (and write a couple of mails some people have been waiting for since an eternity, I guess those people will notice ).

For the record, the thing was, that I have had some tough work for Physics and Maths, and my motivation was at an incredible low point (I barely got a 4 in the Physics test). Furthermore, one thing I had to worry about was a grand-scale project for school, which included writing half a book on a subject of my choice (Alexander the Great), and I also designed a website to accompany it (http://www.alexanderthegreat.de). And on Saturday, I've got to hold a little speech on the Macedonian march through the Gedrosian Desert. As if that weren't enough, private matters played a role too ( etc), but that doesen't matter too much anymore (at least not in this scale).

Well, the reason why I'm actually posting here is, I need someone to assist me with a couple of things. As time runs short, I can't make all the stuff for my Pacific Project and the German East-Africa project by myself.
So, I need some brave volunteers to...

- Draw a large-scale map of the Pacific with my ideas
- Draw some high-quality from-the-scratch graphics of islanders and boats
- Fill my idea gaps

Any other comments accepted as well.

[Edit: My spelling gets worse and worse]

Stefan: what does it say in the German constitution? I think I got the jist of it, but here is what the internet translator said

Actions, that are suited and are undertaken in the intention, to disturb, especially the leadership of an aggressive war to prepare, the peaceful living together of the peoples are unconstitutional. They are to be placed under punishment

Please help!

Well, this is a better translation by myself (I hope):

Actions, that are capable of, and intended to disturb the peaceful co-existance of the nations, and especially those capable of leading a war of aggression are unconstitutional (against the consitution [of the FRG]). They are to be punished.

In clear words, this means that the Federal Republic of Germany is, by it's own constitution, not allowed to lead any kind of aggressive war.

Deep in my heart I'm a pacifist (though a realist as well, if that works in some way)

And I'm shy.

Ouch. Well, does leave room for a defensive war? Let me guess: the Allies gave you your current Consitution?

I'll see, though terrain graphics are what I lack the very least...

Yep, it does leave room for defensive war, that is obvious, I think. Otherwise, Germany would not participate in some current wars (doubtworthy IMHO, but let's not discuss politics here).
Apart from that, I'm certain the constitution was written under the supervision of the allied powers, but it indeed is very "german", I think, it does differ dramatically from, for example, the american one.

Maybe this clause should be inserted into the constitution of all countries.

Stefan, drop me an e-mail ( warvoid@aol.com ) with what you want done to the units and what kind of ideas you're looking for. I can certainly help with it.

I'm getting better and better at drawing units everyday.

It's also in Italian Constitution...

"L'Italia ripugna la guerra come strumento di risoluzione delle controversie internazionali".
