Rules: Size of World
Should it be:
Earth
Small
Medium
Large
Archapeligo
Continents
etc.
(I think that's most of the options)

Huge (gigamap, I assume), mixed, random.
We'll decide the other options (age, climate) later, I guess.

I voted other because you left random out as a choice. Size I don't much care, but I like everything else to be random, which is also why I would not want earth map.

I'm conflicted... I think the Earth map would be really cool, but I can see how it would limit things a bit...
Huge continents is best, I suppose.

I like a random, unknown map, but I think that for such a monumental game the teams should have fairly equal starts. What about having the map screened by an outsider? Someone could generate a random map, and set the start tiles for each civ, so that no civ is grossly advantaged. Each team would still get to pick a civ from those available.

Small Map...
Who here has ever tried to FINISH a game on a HUGE map?
Good luck!
Go with small map, makes things more fun, and makes for quicker turns.

Good point, Flatlander Fox! The game will be huge; the map needn't be. On a small map, we might just complete it.
But I'll teach my son to play Civ2, just in case we must use a huge map for this huge game.

I voted large mixed becouse a smaller land mas means contact with other civs sooner and a littel more fun with the competition However with 7 civs (this vote has allready been taken) we will want SOME "elbow room"
