will you be able to place units in the new editor?
sorry, i cant find a direct answer anywhere else. also, will you be able to place tile improvements, cities, city improvements, wonders, etc. when creating a scenario?

Coracle - stop spamming and stay on-topic
Barfus - I certaainly hope that city/unit/improvement placement is implemented in civ3. I can't really see how it could be called a scenario-editor without this feature.

It must be included.
Like zulu said, i really wouldn't be a scenario editor otherwise.
We'll all find out on Friday, though. (Or Thursday if they're sneaky and release it early again.  )

Barfs, yes you can. I think I read it in either the 8 paged unannounced chat, or the Civfanatics chat.
