Got a bunch of map on my Civ site, check 'em out if you'd like. BTW, why doesn't anyone post in this forum?

Most people creating things for CivII post in the Scenario League hosted forum. This one has been more or less comatose for many months...

At least I would post, if I would still be developing my scenario of the Finnish civil war, or the one called the Battle of Baltic Sea. Maybe in the future, but some discussion would still be welcome.

1.
What civil war? The Finnish civil war; read what I typed.
2.
@ Heresson's knowledge of WWII history
Heresson, didn't you say you know something about Hitler? At least you assumed (comment: without puting up any evidence) that he wasn't good friend of the Germans. So why don't you tell with your knowledge on the WWII what that scenario about the Baltic Sea could be about?

AFAIK the scenario includes naval battles in the Baltic Sea, and land warfare in the Baltics, Finland and Carelia. The name the Battle of the Baltic Sea was like a project name, not necessarily the name of the final scenario.

We had hungreds of civil wars in Poland... Did You have just one? "Battle for Baltic Sea" could be the same good a scn about Baltic in XVI, XVII, XVIII century... how could i know it
is a scn about ww2?
My comment about Hitler was that the population supported him, as proved in 1933 and later German behaviour.
If they didn't suport Hitler, why was nsdap so numerous?
f.e.
Enough to watch some documentaries, relations of people
living in this time and stuff.
I'm not interested in ww2 military history. But i had to learn some things about how Hitler got the reigns of power.

Heh. Yeah, we've only had one civil war during our independence, in 1918. The lost side was trying to convert Finland into a communistic state, to put it shortly.

We shall ally with the Duchy of Finland and crush our opponents together. They knew not whom they had subdued. The reckoning is coming.

Let me try and say something about the maps for a change...
They look very nice, but also very random (most of them anyway). So what do your maps have that a "normal" random generated map doesn't have?

Did you look at all of them, although one or two of them may be similar to random (although not really because I don't create those long streched out landmasses like the game itself does.
Also some of the maps could definitely not be confused with random ones, as many of the starting locations are equal for certain players (for Multiplayer games).

P.S. : Thanks for actually following the spirit of the thread

Yes... I didn't quite look at them closely enough. Only 2 (or 3) look very random, and that's not exactly "most".
I like the CompleteMap, except that you start on an island, and I'm not much of a fan of the navy in civ. And in general, your maps have a little too much ocean for my taste (except the NYC and BigWarWorld maps)...
Let me see, here are 3 silly maps I made. Perhaps I should upload them to my site too, but Im too lazy.
xs_triangle.mp - My attempt at making a triangular landmass (one with 3 equal sides, whatever that's called in English) of 160 squares (the minimum that pleases the Map Editor's "Analyze map" feature), and 100 grassland/plains squares (also the minimum). Nice if you're really in a hurry. A nice bonus... There are 7 starting positions, one for each civ color (yep, the starting points for each triple of civs is on the same square ).
random.mp - I made this map using some pattern in Corel PhotoPaint which was supposed to mimic a satellite image or somesuch. I added the terrains myself... I'm not sure if I it is actually finished though (I don't make maps too regularly anymore ).
2worlds.mp - Meant to be played on as the Romans.
