Saved games before patch
Are saved games affected by the patch or do you have to start a new game to get the patched effects?
I started a game as Rome the other day and wondered if I need to restart to get the effects of the 1.29f patch.

IIRC you can go ahead and install the patch and still play
a 1.21saved game. Not 100% sure though

Previous patches were backward compatible, let's hope this one is, too...

saved games reflect the patch changes. I continued a saved game last night with the new patch and it had all the new bells and whistles. Fortify all and awake all is the best new feature to me.

All games will use the rules they started with not the current rules.
They will use the new interface things like wake all.
