Now, the flags are rated!!!
A philosophist and a teacher Josh Parsons has rated all of the flags in this site. The rates are given from A to F and with scale 1-100.

Just to pic some flags:

- Australia 55/100 (colonial nonsense, too many stars)
- Belgium 75/100 (good shape)
- Brazil 35/100 (writing, too busy; Starmap original but atrocious. Worst flag of any independent nation state)
- Canada 80/100 (Graven images; Hmm... that maple leaf? A difficult question, but I think not quite stylised enough.)
- Finland 76/100 (good colours, simple)
- Germany 70/100
- Greece 70/100 (eyewatering, original; Impressively eyewatering, with only two colours.)
- Israel 85/100
- Netherlands 70/100
- United Kingdom 70/100 (too busy)
- United States 60/100 (too many stars, too busy; If one is good, fifty must be just right.)

right

that's probably one of the most boring flags I've ever seen. it's funny, though, how all the Euro ones get 70. one has to admit they all look the same though

Libya is even on the same level as UK, and BETTER THAN US?! I admit the US flag isn't that good, but....That's just ridiculous.

South Korea C+ (!) while Gambia A+(!!)?

Pakistan A (!) Swaziland C+ (!?)

Greece B Finland B+?!

I mean, these are just ridiculous. The guy must have been drunk or something.

Actually I find the US flag has some nice look to it, at least the first impression it makes. All that "too busy" stuff is pretty weird, the US flag is fine like that. It's certainly better than this crap EU one

Kazakstan, Cyprys and Sri Lanka D?!

Zimbabwe D, because it "features a hawk sitting on a toilet".

Yup. Plus, they even consider spears as weapons. I mean automatic weapons on flags are silly, but spears? Thatg's just culture. The Israeli flag features a symbol of hatred (come on, this its at least 8/10) and still gets 85%

On the other hand, I think it's great that guy has given different rating's for Syria and Iraq;
I mean, those are so different from each other, no?

Read about the rating method of this guy, before you start judging his desicions..

About the 'too busy', it propably means 'too much stuff innit'. Thus the flag is 'littered' or 'fragmented...

Indias flag "littered" or "fragmented"? "Too much stuff innit"? Probably because of that wheel in the center...Although that doesn't seem to make the flag littered or fragmented.

*Sigh* This guy is just a....well.....

Er....I've mastered the secrets of probability mechanics. I can predict seemingly random events, including this one. Einstein would turn over in his grave. Not only does god play with dice, the dice are loaded.

Back on topic: He still gave India a "Too Busy". Why? Is the wheel too complex for him, or what?

How can you have a bad tricolour with only 2 colours? (Nigeria)
How can you have both good colours and bad tricolours on the same flag?

And what's this about 'colonial nonsense'? They weren't calling it nonsense when we were sticking bayonets up their arses, I can tell you!

You really don't get it? Aha, you're just joking, right? Right?

colonial nonsense - use the flag of another country as a part of the flag. And BTW, Union Jack is the only flag used in this manner...

Seneca, between the Tories and Gordon Brown, doesn't flying that flag count as a capital offense in the UK?

Look from the "methodology"-section...
oh, well

"Eyewatering - This flag caused my eyes to water. Often in virtue of a particularly bad combination of colours, though the most notably eyewatering flags, those of Greenland and Greece, manage to achieve their effect with only two colours"
