Alien Crossfire faction files
Please!
I cannot buy Alien Crossfire in Australia.
Please, if anyone could just send me the factions files and graphics for SMACX I would be so grateful.

*Points to his copy of the Planetary Pack*
It's available. $20 from anywhere that has it.
Besides, the files would be useless to you. They contain bonuses not supported by SMAC.

Not true!
All of the human factions work in SMAC with just a slight editing in a text editor.

Really, what about the Aquatic, Techsteal and Nodrone ability, to name just a few?

Sorry, my last post was a little deceiving.
What I would like to do is just get the graphics and data files for the factions and just edit them to take out all the bonuses that wouldn't work in SMAC.
Please someone the files are easy to find and aren't very big.

You can download aquatic versions of the SMAX factions from:
http://www.civgaming.net/smac/googliecustom.shtml
These files have the three graphic files and the .txt files for the seven original smac factions and the six smax factions (they exclude the pirates, who already are an aquatic faction)

Ah - that's 'cos you need alphax.txt, which has the preformed sea escape pods. Here it is
