Nice one, Hydey, now you've got him hunting through dictionaries for the word "milo".

What do you think Hydey is, El Civ? Google? You've got an internet connection and, presumably, access to a search engine. Type in the word "Milo" and see what you find. Get back to us with the results.

Perfect candidate for English County cricket, War.

Oh! Okay, sorry. You're overqualified for English County cricket.

There's a Sri Lankan bowler (and I use the term loosely in his case) by the name of Muralitharan who seems to think there's absolutely no difference between bowling and baseball pitching.

For some reason the phrase "Jamaican bobsled team" springs to mind when I read that.
There was a rumour going around some time ago about the possibility of including Canada and/or the Netherlands in the next world cup. Anyone know if this has been substantiated yet?

There's always a competition between the non-Test playing nations - Netherlands, Canada, Kenya, etc - to determine who gets a slot in the World Cup. I forget how many slots are available to those teams.

Take a gold star for spelling.
He's probably going to end up with the world record for wickets - he's younger than Warne.

I did a search through Google for "Milo". The results range from a porn site to an online resume for a man who works at Tel Aviv University to an animal sanctuary to a fan site for a Romanian female gymnast.

He's a chucker, Raz. Most international cricketers think so. A great many international umpires think so. Unfortunately, due to cricket politics, he's allowed to get away with it. The two Australian umps who had the guts to call him were banished for it.

I did one, too, out of interest. It was on the second page of Google. Anyway, try it again, but type in "Nestles" and "Milo".

For F*** sake finbar, give the guy a break.
Milo is an "energy food drink" made by Nestles.
They sponsor the program for kids called "have a go"

if a great many internqtional umpires think so its a pity most dont call him, only two aussies who were a bit miffed he kept taking wickets !!!
i seen worse examples of chucking and i dont think he getting much advantage from his style of bowling.
Fortuantly i not into cricket as it usually too boring too watch two teams play for five days with no result..
One dayers arent too bad though...

We need a lighter photo of the famous Odeo so we can worship it.
Here's a photo of me at work. To my right is Donald Johnston, Secretary General of the OECD. Canberra is in the background.

Normally... I hate to see old threads brought back... especially if it looks like it was just done for a free post.
But this one is worth of another look... so let's see some more pictures.
