And after the thunder cloud called Mrs Horse passes over, there's the lightning bolt called Mrs finbar following behind.
BTW. You were right. They know. Mrs finbar knew. As soon as she walked in the door, she headed straight for the computer. Pulled up the thread, scrolled down and thrust a damning finger at your posts. It's really really creepy. How do they do it?

Mrs Horse rattled off all my faults whilst I sat at her feet folding clothes last night.
I honestly don't know why she stays with me

More like the Ayatollah working herself up to a paroxysm of anger arms folded whilst sitting on her fat bum in her favorite easy chair watching tv and slagging me off.
I sit slightly behind in her blind spot, appearing to fold clothes with domestic piety and a solemn hang dog expression whilst actually smirking superciliously, giggling, making snide comments to myself and poking my tongue out whenever she isn't looking.
If that is your idea of domestic bliss.....

Ok...so that doesn't sound like a place to stay on a visit. Scratch the Horses.
But by next year, I can probably stay at Horse's swinging bachelor pad! And Mrs. Sneak can stay with the battle axe! This is working out great!

Duh! Sneak! She's not going to do that in front of guests - which means a visit from you is a holiday for me too (he, he!).
And she's not going to divorce me either - if she divorces me she can't pick on me any more

Horse - I just heard on ABC Rural News - compulsive listening - that Canberra's last dairy (it was also its first, somewhere near Fishwyck) is closing down and being sold to a turf-growing company. That's very sad.

Sad for you - if you visit us you'll miss the bucolic scenes as you pass the dairy.
I once saved one of their cows which had wandered onto the freeway. Yes that's right, a black and white Friesian negotiating freeway traffic!
The dairy was also useful for pointing out to the children that milk doesn't grow in cartons - though I don't think they ever believed me (Ha! Silly daddy thinks milk comes from cows!).

The cows are going to another dairy somewhere - Moggs' or something. The bucolic tone of the rural newsreader sort of lulled me off to sleep. Sorry.
But the scenery will still be nice. We'll just see turf growing instead of cows grazing.
Mmmmmmm. Turf farm, Horse. Hire a trailer and a shovel. Slip down there one night. Put a spoke in Hydey's horticultural wheel.

The cows are going to Cowra. How do I know this? The closure of the dairy is the sort of thing that rates as the top news item in Canberra

Presumably Canberra Times readers saw the word Cow in the headline and thought it was more of Natasha.

Its interesting you should say that because I have been mistaken for a Northern Italian before. I get the similar in France. People frequently come up and talk to me in French or tourists ask me for directions.
You could say I'm a filthy continental

Admit it, Horse, you and MOBIUS aren't posting the thing minus the FX because you know you two look so drab beside me.

Listen, she'll see it. I'm polishing up on my "cute" mode. I still have much ground to make up after her seeing your defamatory posts about you-know-what. I wasn't online that night because she grounded me - you're not going out to play with that thug, she said. I only got online last night because she insisted on watching that new, bottom-rating series about baby jungle beasts. I really really hate it when I get tarred with the same Horse-brush.

Sorry, Horse, that which appears in your sig comes as absolutely no surprise to Mrs finbar. I say that sort of thing - and worse - nightly. OTOH, what you posted - well, let's just run her words up the flagpole and see who salutes them: ... "Horse" ... "hidden dark side" ... "more faces than Luna Park" ... "and I said nice things about his kiddies" ... "any daquiri he gets from me won't be administered orally" ...
'Nuff said?
