Question about the Game
Does anyone know how to set the game so it's does not automatically end when it reaches the end year

2050 is hard-coded in the game for now, but the game just stops scoring. if you want to finish it you can keep playing after the last year, you just wont score or win via culture,domination, ect.....

It seems like it would be simple for Firaxis to give us the option to change the end year, but for some reason they seem to not be considering that at all.

Look in the Civ Files forums, I think Gramphos has made a utility that will change the ending date.
