All the others had seconds as well, you missed you second of the War of Progression by minutes! So, in fairness, Write in's will be manually counted. There were TONS of suggestions not included. I included the ones that were seconded.
Feel free to write in:
The War of Progression

Great Leap forwards rocks
It's exactly what happened to us, we can't expect a better name to descibe it.

Got ya, but I still think it’s slightly unorthodox.
Put one down for War of Progression.

The great leap forward is kinda cheezy because it doesn't contain a word denoting that it is a war
such as "campaign" or "war" itself. But it gets bland to name wars after the country that was attacked, a lot of wars seem to be named that. Vote W.O.N. !!! (after all we did)

Do not dare use The Great Leap Forward, it reminds me of Chairman Mao or someone like that.

I'm sorry I did not think of it before, but
"The Great Jungle Massacre"
Or is that what the Americans will call it?

After France falls, we can go after America. Once that happens, it won't matter one whit what the Americans call it. Those who control the present control the past.
Oh, and I'd support either "First Virgin War" or "War of American Liberation".

the (soon to be first) american campaign is desciptive and has nothing to do with Mao, it has a nice ring to it and is accurate from all points of view...

I prefer War of Necessity, we had no choice we had to go, the others can wait until we can create a crushing victory which would be even more impressive

Actually I'd prefer something like The First Apolytonian-American War. Some will say its too boring and traditional, but I like it.

I know what the A-NBC coverage would be called, COLLAPSE OF AMERICA: APOLYTON FRONT since this has been posted, take some time to respond to a question I have, in this forum is a civ community called apolyton, which apperantly is a democratic gov't with "real" partys and elections, how could i get more involved in the happenings of this "nation" like, for instance, how would one start a media corperation, or political party (Apolyton-NBC, and idea i had browsing around, possible media up-start ) any help appreciated

Well, where to start.
First of all welcome SN.
How to start? If you feel like starting from scratch, then it is basically posting your toughts on the party and hoping for people to join.
First, though, would be to take a look at existing parties.
This link has good party info
Now, as for a media outlet. Let me say, first of all, I could use some help with mine: The Jungle Gazette. Take a look at it, and if interested send me a Private Message. I will tell you how you can help. Starting up another? Just go for it. I will say it is alot of work, and likely too mch for one man.
