Can't find post on modifying existing BICs
I have been pretty happy with 1.29f but I'm having trouble figure out how to change the settings in an existing game. For instance, modifying the corruption settings (it's driving me crazy and really ruining the game), adding airline to workers, and stuff like that. I keep checking the bic file and my changes are there, but they aren't affecting my game. I have been playing for weeks and just can't figure this out. HOW do you change these settings now??

It will not change in saved games, you have to start a new game.

I think its actually a preparation for multiplayer games so that unscrupulous players will have a tougher time cheating in such games.

It's also been like that since the 1.21f patch.

Actually it makes sense. Quite often before, if you made a change in the bic file, your save game wouldn't reload again anyway. At least now you can still make changes to your mod as you go along, without having to start from scratch everytime.

Dear Folks,

I am also unhappy with not being able to modify bic file in an axisting game. Never had a problem with game crashes etc despite extensive tweaking.

IMO this capability will be ESPECIALLY good in MULTIPLAYER games, to maintain interest and involvement, adapt the experience to the personalities and events of the game.

I sincerely hope it is brought back, at least as an OPTION !

Thanks for listening,

JR
